take along something to let you carry your room card around on your neck or wrist. When I was wearing shorts or swimming trunks it was a real hassle to figure out how to get your card with you at all times. As you need it for drinks or for almost anything anywhere, i found it handy to have around my neck, but the boat didnt have any for sale, i had to hunt for one on shore. I dont drink very many alcoholic drinks so I bought on of their soft drink passes that added on my card so I wouldnt have to pay for my soft drinks. I thought it was a good deal for me. i liked the Norwegian cruise and liked the fact that you can pick or choose what you want to do and that its not as formal as some of the other cruise lines. I booked most of the things to do once I got off the ship for the day it seemed to me it was about half the price, but keep in mind the ship will leave without you if youre late and youre not on one of their side trips, so weigh the situation. I loved most of the Norwegian entertainment and the food was marvellous on the Dawn when I was on board. I think i only ate at the buffet once or twice, there were enough other restaurants on the ship, but the chocoalte night on the buffet isnt to be missed. I usually ate evening meals in one of the dining rooms and had excellent, I went to the upcharge dining rooms once or twice and liked it a lot, but found the food just as good in the regualr dining rooms. Enjoy! Brian

I am curious, what the cost to ship was and what point in Canada you shipped from. I am looking for a newer bike and there are a couple in th Houston area the ads looked good. Brian

I got the Apple tv box for Christmas and so far I like it (shhh dont tell anyone I said that! as I dont usually like most things Apple because of how the company operates) Its easy to connect, runs on my wireless quite quickly and seamlessly and gives a good selection of content providers to choose entertainment from. It has NetFlix, Apple tv similar in content to netflix, NBA, NHL, You tube, Vimeo, and a couple of other things like music etc. But a lot of content is pay as you go, there isnt very much free content on the Apple tv, even network programs have to be paid for usually whether you check NetFlix or Apple tv. The thing I like a lot is it also synchs with itunes on my 2 computers so I can share content from my laptop seamlessly. The apple tv box retails for about 80 bucks and is a nice small compact size with a remote. Brian

All of the Shell stations in my area have their premium as no ethanol. It has a tag right on the pumps saying no ethanol ,...but its a pretty high price to get premium. Brian

They quit filming Corner Gas here in town about 3 or 4 years ago,..... I loved the quirky humour and the scary part is, the characters are remarkably like some of the people that live here, like old Oscar was a dead ringer for my dad... Brian You can watch some of the episodes online on You Tube http://www.youtube.com/results?search_query=corner+gas+full+episodes&oq=corner+gas&gs_l=youtube.1.7.0l10.16015.18395.0.21480.10.7.0.3.3.0.136.839.0j7.7.0...0.0...1ac.1.ICMFeArAH2s

I have the bag liners for my bike but never seem to use the side liners as tools seem to end up as low as possible in those bags, then, rain gear and chaps, etc. The top bag liner gets packed with what is needed for the trip rolled up and have lots of seal top bags to store worn clothing in to keep separate. if riding 2up i have a waterpoof rack bag for things like water, camera extra clothing etc. On a long trip we do like to buy underwear and socks along the way and throw the dirty away,..... but if I am in the US and feeling like pi**ing off the customs guys i will make sure i get a bunch of particularly smelly and sweaty laundry and send it home just to make some guys day if they happen to open it to check it......... Hey Owl, we will just remember this and file it away for the middle of summer when they are whining and complaining that "its too hot to ride" and then we will rub it in that we are a nice comfy 70 or 80F.
