  2. So when does a woman become Dutch?
  3. Never a good place to be! That line is the line, anything over it is nuts!
  4. You know it's not all it's made up to be. I had to get up this morning to go P. thought I was retired,,,, sometimes just more tired,,,, but now that I'm up I might as well get it done,,,,,, just don't know what it is that needs doing. Oh ya it's Wednesday,,,, I need to go see Bob,,,,,,,,, uh no,,,, that was last week, or is it next week, can't be today, I'm sure Marca has the car,,,,zzzzzzz
  5. Would love to come out there,,,,,,,, promise no rain???? or snow???
  6. Sometimes I know what's going on,,,,, but this one has me baffled.
  7. Do a check on google for 'Saturn air bag removal'. Had to do my daughter's yesterday, not as difficult as it might seem, there's a good video there. Also, the way I understand it, the horn button is a real problem, so is mostly replaced the way you want to do it. [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7vMNiM_m-Ls]YouTube - Air Bag Removal[/ame]
  8. Just for clarification, the right front is front only, the left front as you sit on the bike is the rear. Bleed the rear caliper, then with help bleed the front left (rear, front). Get as much pressure as you can before opening the bleeder screw. You may have to pump the pedal several times to get some pressure. Once you have the caliper clear do the anti-dive. The front is a little easier but mostly the same. I have also used pressure bleeding to clear the lines. For the rear is use a rubber tipped blower with about 20 lbs pressure, clears things up in seconds. Make sure that the hose you attach to the bleeder seats well and use a bottle to emerge the leaking end. Hope this helps Carl
  9. I used a Dremel to cut through the race, then a cold chisel to split it,,, that's for the lower. The upper was done with a long punch and a heavy hammer with the tree supported with a 2x4 from the bottom. The heavy hammer is not for swinging hard, but does give a solid blow.
  10. Hope you don't hug for tooo long,,, there's others that need a hug tooo!!!! Ben, you're right,,, I don't listen,, my ears are only attached to make the rest of me look better. And as far as batteries are concerned? I'm Dutch and too cheap to but them, so the aids work wonderfully,,,, yep, can't hear a thing.
  11. I go for massage therapy, not just the gentle rubbing on the skin, but the deep down get those knots out type that doesn't let you fall asleep. I had issues before, nothing worrisome but aggravating none the less. Now I only get a sore butt, and I can't seem to put on the padding needed to fix that.
  12. Glad my helmet don't look like that,,,,,,,,,, it would make 2 the same and yours wouldn't be unique,,,,, and it's nice,,, real nice, and he got a chance to get his name out,,, good job!
  13. What kind of mufflers have you got? Do you, or can you feel it?
  14. If it's not the wind, I would go for tire balance, or on the off chance a bad brake rotor. Both these may not be noticed at slow speeds, but might show up at higher speeds.
  15. Oh Oh, now I got to plan on going somewhere. When did you say you were going to be in Ontario?
  16. I got some beads, but because my butt has no padding, especially on the butt bones, it don't help me a bit. Sheepskin helps a little, an air-pocket pad helps some, but the best I found was to carve 2 depressions in the seat foam to give some room for my bones.
  17. I come to greet you personally,,,, maybe even make a big scene, or bring a special present,,,,, ya then you won't forget me! right Don??? What's this??? you jealous now? you don't get to wear a rose???
  18. With all that on the back,,, who would have time for twisties?
  19. Don't forget to satisfy the shift lever, or you just might be going down the road one day without it!
  20. All's good when you open 'er up,,, but if you want a carb sync,,, come on down,,, love to meet you.
  21. Hey Gary,,, last year I spoke to them and they said they'll do anything to accommodate us. We spoke about having it inside in case of the weather and also about leaving the band out so that we could hear each other. Just thought you might want to follow up.
  22. Most time when the clutch is apart and you measure the plates they are OK, so a good set of springs could get you by. Myself, I would get new fiber plates as well, even if it's just for the fact that I now know that I won't have an issue with that again.
  23. Would that mean to indicate that one would need two companions to fill the scoot for a trip? If so,, where is all the extra storage space that would be necessary for such a venture?
  24. You really don't need to modify a perfect scoot, that's why!
  25. It's a helmet mount!!!!
