    Carry on, and do what you have to. Riding is nice, but then so are a lot of other things and it seems we can normally do only one thing at a time. So,, God bless, you made a good decision and it will pay back in time.

    Going to a 15 wgt oil will give you a stiffer ride, and lots more plastic to fix.

    In addition to this thought, is that if you are a MC and only have a small profile, you tend to blend with the scenery on the side of the road, and if then you are running your low beam, you really are not making much of an impression, maybe better to be running on the right side of the the left track. The other thing that happens,,, and that's the type of thinking that got me started on this thread,,,, is what does the cager coming towards you think if you are riding the right hand track. There is a possibility that he\she would consider that you would be making a right hand turn, and so consider you of no consequence. Not that it would necessarily be the case, but mostly a cager has to deal with cagers and therefore the first thing considered is cager things, so if a cager is coming toward you and is moved over to the right hand side of the of his lane,,,,,,,then he's making a right turn,,, right???? get the picture??????

    If it were me and I had to deal with that issue, I would trace the white back to be sure it's the neutral, then the other two don't really matter. Is this a direct wire or you you have a plug and receptacle?

    Mine just 'fell' off the 85, but Wizard765 was glued on and then some. We made up a pulling contraption, wore out a punch, smashed it with a hammer, heated it until red hot, and finally we had come twopart,,,,, don't know exactly what did it,,,, but now we got to figure it back together somehow.

    Don't know a whole lot about oil filters, other than that they are suppose to take the crap out of the oil. I still don't know much about oil filters other than that they're supposed to take the crap out of the oil.

    I'd be more worried about where I was going to eat and find Ice Cream, than the running capabilities of my first gen...... and oh, who I would be going to meat in Texas or BC.

    o to the Garmin site and download a copy of MapSource. It's free to Garmin users, takes a little to get used to, but works quite nice, then can be directly downloaded onto your Garmin. Streets and Trips is a hassle to download onto your Garmin and sometimes comes up with errors,,, although I think S&T works nicer than MS.

    If you want to see the Falls, you need to see it from the Canadian side, the Americans just don't know how to display it right. Now going from the Falls to Maine, I would be riding through NY,,,, the Canadians went and messed up all the good scenery around Lake Ontario,,,,, unless you go way round Hamilton and Toronto,,, and add another day or two to your trip,,,,,, some nice country out there, but the you'll miss the nice country of NY & NH. My choice would be NY..........

    So what's so wrong with riding in Ontario,,,, and we do have places to sleep here,,,,, and not near as lumply as some. Maybe we can make it to NY when you are there for a M&E..... can't blame you for staying out of Canada,,,, you might never get back to Iceland,,,, you might never want to go back.
