Marcarl joins Micarl in saying: U-TURN. On a scoot you are a sitting duck, a meal waiting to happen. If one of those bears decides that you are the target, you would be too late to get out of there, and somebody else will be getting the pictures of that biker being antagonized by the bears.

I answered all 20,,, pretty good eh, and I'm not that old. Only got 11 right though,, makes me feel real good, and I tried hard to get as many right as possible,,,,, you see we didn't have a TV at home, and even today, I don't know any real TV 'stars'. I know some VentureRiders by name though!!!!

You could send a note, letter, to the Police dept. informing them that they have illegal MC with the 4 wheel setup, and also send a letter to their Insurance Co informing them of the illegal MC on the road from the Police Dept. Hopefully the Ins Co will send the police a letter stating that those MC with 4 wheels are not legal and they can no longer insure them. Then hopefully the police dept will either attempt to change the trikes, or get a revision on the law. I would think that if the police went after the legislation, it would be fixed right pronto.

It seems to be a whole lot more efficient to let the answering machine answer the calls and then return only the one that seem important to you. That way you don't spend the whole day on the phone with people that don't do anything for you. For me,,,,, when I call a business and I get the machine, I just hang up the first time. If I need them bad enough, I will leave a message the second time, if they don't get back to me within the hour, somebody else gets that business, or I'll do it another way. I DON"T LIKE ANSWERING MACHINES!!!!!!

Just so everyone is aware,,,,, MarCarl has an 85,,,, and it's the fastest and bestest. Maybe MiCarl has an 89.... and oh ya, Marcarl's wheels are black with silver trimmings and clean mostly in the spring only.

Can't figure out why you guys want to keep it all for yourselves and then complain about it. For me it's white gold, so don't hold it up, send it on!!!!

Best thing to do when you have a flooding problem, is to make another hole so that the water can run out again. Seems most people don't spend much thought on this, but it makes perfect sense, I mean if you have a container with only 1 hole and you pour liquid into it, it stays in the container right? But if you have another hole it will run out and all is cool! So the thing to do, is to go down there and make another hole, larger than the first (physics) ( at least I think that what it's called), so that the water can run out again. You have to check for slope and stuff, but it should work,,,, I think,,, I mean it works with an Ice-cream cone, Right? Now if it doesn't work, you haven't done your homework right and you've read tooo much on the internet!

It's interesting seeing those numbers, and then to think that on the whole they are mostly all the same makup,,,,, you know, water with an additive, made so that the selling of water can get a higher profit margin. Now water in a bottle really gets me,,,, sure it has uses and I wouldn't want to do without it, it's a lot better than pop if you need to drink while on a MC for instance, and where would fill up your container? you can't always trust the tap so to speak. But people thinking that bottled water is clean?????? you're much healthier drinking from the tap!!!!!!

Headlight& Dash light problems

The first and easiest to check is the fuse panel,,, take all them fuses out and check the contacts to make sure that they are tight and clean,,,, best though is to either change the contacts or the whole fuse panel,,, not a biggy, just need to find the right parts. I would also suggest to take apart and clean the switch,, takes a little time and patience, but then any future problems will also be averted. -
I've never had to do that at the gas pumps,,,mind you I look cool no matter what you might think I look like,,,,, but that on the side,,,,, I always manged to push the scoot over to a parking spot before I had that look on my face!!!!

If it weren't for the coming of the Christ, I would have no life at all, so my first hobby is to spend time with Him,,,,, Then I spend time on my MC, either improving it or riding it, or talking about it, or showing it off, or riding it, or buying tools to make things better and easier to fix other MCs. When all that is done I love too nap,,,,,,, ya I know, what a waste of time,,,, but then I figure, so is golf, and watching sports, and chasing the unhappy good looking ones. I like to be productive in all that I do, but that's not a priority, so I tend to forget about that sometimes,,,,,sometimes those times are getting longer as time goes on. I tend to my wife and kids and 15 grand-kids as a main priority, but that doesn't always work either. Our life here is good,,, really good, the more I look around the more I appreciate the life I have been given to live. We have trials and some tribulations, but nothing like some other places on this earth. VentureRider.org is a place I visit many times in one day,,, it's got to be a real blessing for it's members. And just to make sure everybody is satisfied, I can get PI**ED off at some government employees who think they know everything and can take 8 weeks vacation every year.

Now that you are an official member, it's time to inform you of other things you might or will do to keep your future interesting. Oh never mind, it's more fun finding it out all by yourself, like when you are in the middle of nowhere, with no cell phone and no traffic, just you and a dead scoot!!!!!! YA!!! then you may contact the Pres and he'll give you the answer.

Ya well me being me, I was looking for either Wings or Gold Wings or GW, but not anything starting with Honda! Who would have thought that once you became a VentureRider you would want to keep the Honda family name,,,,,, after all Marca took on my name when she 'joined' me!!! Just my bad I guess. And, no!!!! I don't stir the pot either!!!

Just a suggestion,,,, oh ya, all that is said in the posts above is true, in case anybody was wondering,,,, but now back to the suggestion: could we create a Wing forum here. We seem to be getting quite a few Wing riders and it might be advantageous for them if Wing discussions were easily located under General Tech Talk, or Tech Articles. It would then show up in the watering hole as per usual so the Wing riders wouldn't feel as though they had it all to themselves. I know we tried a Harley forum all on it's own, and that didn't fly, but something encased into our present family might be a good thing. Now I suppose I should post this under New Ideas?

That's tuff news, I too was thinking of sharing a cool one or two (No Beer)on the patio with him. Guess I'll have to go to Scarborough for a visit soon. Best to you Craig, and we'll pray for you as well. Carl & Marca.
