Does the orange flavor of pledge have the same bee/ insect problem as the lemon variety? I have been using some orange scent over the winter, but have not tried it during the warmer months and do not want to be attracting bees.

on a Burgundy Venture riding up I95 North this morning around 0715??????? Rode along close up I95,I64 and onto Rt33 until I turned off into work. I haven't seen very many Ventures in Richmond and have yet to meet a member in town, would be nice to catch up with a member so close.

Your making me jealous:buttkick: We went last year and had a blast. Couldn't make it this year, but will be trying to make it next year:fingers-crossed-emo I'll just have to site here and sulk for now I guess. I hope you'll enjoy yourselves and have a safe trip back home.

Interesting thoughts on the creation of our scoots, hope you can make our M&E in April to further discuss this theory.

I want to do the same thing to my bike, but am a little hesitant to do it by myself. How long did it take you? Any problems to look out for? -
Nice pics (makes me want to head back to lake lure), I bet it was a great ride. My wife has gone out of town for the weekend, so I have both kids which means no riding. Hopefully she'll get back early enough tomorrow that I can get a ride in with each of the kids:fingers-crossed-emo

I spoke with an ICE agent at work today and he reaffirmed that the land travel requirements for a passport have been pushed back until 2009 sometime. That means that we can still use a DL and birth certificate for the Int'l rally.

We've all done it:whistling: or will at some point. The question is have you made your donation yet?

I was just checking the State Dept and CBP websites and it appears that we will not need passports for the trip this summer. If I can get away with it, I will just my sons birth certificate and save the money on the passport. Kids passports are only good for 5 years anyway.

You don't have to have a passport to get the new passport card. You can get the card in place of a regular passport for a lot cheaper. You can also get a card if you already have a passport if you want to use it instead.

where to install sebel horn
nkbjones replied to bikerjohn's topic in Royal Star Venture Tech Talk ('99 - '13)
It will mount up in the stock location on the right side over the muffler. Very easy install in that location. You can use Carbon one's mount, or you can get a stainless L bracket at your local hardware store. -
Baxter will anything and plenty of it (though you already know that:rotf:) I have a feeling he will eat his share at the included meals, I'm just worried that they will figure how much he eats and charge me extra:bang head:

I am in Richmond VA and am planning on going to the rally. I am not sure what route you would use, but we could certainly meet up and ride together. This would work especially well if you plan on coming up I81 though VA. A little closer to the date, I was going to see who else would be traveling through VA on the way and maybe set up a larger group to travel with. My current idea is to travel Sat 7/5 to somewhere around Erie, Pa and spend the night, then on Sun explore Niagara Falls a little before finishing the trip over to Kitchener. My son will be riding with me and you are certainly welcome to join us if you want, it would be great to have company.

I used the Ultra LED light bar from Custom Dynamics and found away to accomplish a no dril install. I simply 'wedged' the bar under the trunk between the side of the rack. I had to cut the plastic that comes around helmet locks a little with a utility knife. I know you (and many others) are wondering who well it stays being that it is 'wedged' in and not locked down, but mine has been installed for 6 months and has almost 10k miles on it and it had not budged, not an inch. I've attached a couple of pics.

No pictures yet, but I have a Grumpy doll and a police bear that ride side by side. I got the grumpy and my son gave me the police bear for Christmas.

I am 5'8" also and love this bike. I took my seat to have it shaved in the 1st week I had it and have little problem now. I still can't quite flat foot it, but with time I have gotten use to it and have no problems. I have a lowering kit also, but still haven't decided if I amactually going to install it. There are several lowering options if you find that you need them.

I have riden my 07 all winter and have noticed that when it is colder, it needs more time to warm up. I usually let it 'choke' a little longer and then idle longer than when it is warmer. If I try to rush the warm up, she is sluggish for the first several miles. I did have 1 spell of about 1 1/2 weeks that she sat because it was in the teens or rained right at freezing. She ran rough even after the extended warm up, so I ran some sea foam through and good as new. Gas mileage stills sucks, but runs like a bat out of h$#L.

I don't know if their the cheapest, but at least close to it. I ordered mine from these guys and I received it in 2 days. Also they include the wiring kit that has all the wires and connectors you need. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&ih=013&category=34284&_trkparms=algo%3DMESSL%26itu%3DSS%252BSI%26otn%3D25%26po%3DOp1%26ps%3D15&viewitem=&item=230221600553&_trksid=p3984.m106

I have a Venturedad hitch that I got used from Squidly. This one is easy to install, less than 1/2 hour (including taking the saddlebags off). This is the hitch I was going to buy new, complete package for $150, before I was able to get the used one.
