  1. Well, I had read about using Lemon Pledge on bikes at some other sites. I tried it today on the 06 RSV and behold, it worked great! I have been using Honda Spray Polish and hear that they are discontinuing it. (It worked great for me too.) I used the Pledge all over the bike including the windshield and it shines like it did when I saw it on the show room floor. Hey $3.00 a can beats $5.50 in my book any day! And it sure makes the bike smell good! I don't know if it will clean the bugs off like Honda Polish but, we will see. I also use Go-Jo hand cleaner (Creamy Type) on my other bikes windshield and it covers up or seems to remove all the little scratch marks and swirls in it that you see when riding into the sun. Just rub it on the windshield with my fingers and wipe it with a terry-cloth towel. Dog
  2. Car wax or Pledge.. I just gave a 2005 Venture Midnight a good washing....Car wax or Pledge ? Thanks Cb
  3. Hey Folks, I know this has been a long time coming, and I apologise for it's dealy. I have gathered all the monies and gone through who paid what and have a total for the St. Judes weight loss we did at MD. ...........$460.00 Thanks for your paitence and trust, just had to get all the owed monies collected. This turned out to be a great shot in the arm for our St. Judes yearly pledge. Thank you to all that participated and Darrin (93 Venture) for comign up with the idea way back in January. Now we just have to figure out what the next hairbrained idea will be
  4. I just bought a Show Chrome windshield. Is there anything that I shouldn't use on it? I plan to use mostly water and pledge to clean it. Does car wash soap hurt them? Thanks, John
  5. I've seen differant threads about using Pledge to keep your bike clean but just wondering..... 1. Do you use it instead of washing your bike? 2. Do you use it on the paint, chrome, windsheild? 3. Does it take off bug splatter? Thanks
  6. OK, received a message from a member about using Pledge and Pam to deal with the (love bug) removal, and can`t get back in touch with him, as he is in East Texas on a ride, any way, I use Pledge on my bike, but what about and how or when do you use the Pam?? seams like it would make an oily mess.... Kreg:confused24:
  7. I pledge my allegiance to the Flag , and to all the BEERCART's in America . And to all the Beer drinkers …… if they can stand , One understanding , that we’re invincible , with liquor and mixed drinks for all ! :rotf: http://www.meangene.us/pictures/BCF1.jpg On a more serious note ..... As a member of Rolling Thunder , on which we have been invited to participate in the NC Salute the troops parade in Raleigh , NC . It has been said it will be the largest parade in NC history . http://www.saluteournctroops.org/ . Here I have mounted my flags onto the BEERCART , rather than the scoot itself . The flag poles and mounts are made of aluminum . The flag poles themselves are constructed out of 1" and 3/4" ID tubing to make combined a schedule 80 rating and still lightweight . They are 8' tall themselves . The mounts are welded to the trailer tongue . I've had the BEERCART up to 65 mph with 25 mph winds (flags rolled and covered) to see how it handled and no significant signs that they were even there . I will not be traveling at high rate of speed with them , only for parade ceremony activities . Just thought I would share this with you since I haven't shared pic's in a while and also if you can , look into this Saturday's event . BEER30
