  2. Going to have to buy a battery this year for my RSV. Thought I would seek the great advise I always get from everyone here. Any thoughts on a good reliable battery thanks in advance. Quicksilver
  3. Thank you I have one coming from PinWall found one from a 1999 with only 19000 miles on it. I have new bearings to put in when it arrives, thanks to all who helped me. You can't beat the people on this site. Quicksilver:bighug:
  4. It has 27736 miles on it. 2005 rsv
  5. My front wheel bearings disintegrated and wormed out my front wheel. I bought new bearings but when I removed the old bearings the wheel and sleeve were worn and wormed out. So I guess I will have to replace the wheel. Anyone have any ideas besides the dealer. I do not know what they cost but I do know there are cheper places than the dealer. Thanks Quicksilver Thanks guys for all the info and quick to. this is the best source of info on the net. Thank all of you again Quicksilver
  6. Thanks EBC HH is what is on now and I like them just wanted to see if other people like them too. Or if something new has done better.
  7. I am getting ready to change brakes on the RSV , Just wanted to get some input on what kind of brakes to buy. What would you guys suggest ?
  8. OK you guys have me thinking,(big mistake) But lets see the 2 measure up. So if you would those of you that have run both, Let me know your thoughts. Which do you like better Avon Venom Or Dunlop elite 3 front and rear. Thanks Quicksilver
  9. Thank you all for your info and time. Joining this site has been the best thing I could have done for information on the rsv. Thanks so much Quicksilver
  10. Thanks for the info, I noticed that you bought 105/80H-16 for the front did you go for a smaller tire or was that a misprint. Dunlop says 150/80-16 just wondering. Thank you very much Quicksilver
  11. Hello everyone: I need to buy tires and I think that I would like to try the dunlop elite 3. I went to the dunlop site and they recommended 150/80-16 for the front, And MV85B15 for the rear. But so far all I can find is 150/80H-16 for the front, And MV85HB15 or MV85H15 for the rear. Can anyone tell me the difference between the HB or the H, Or do I even need to worry about it. I get brain dead sometimes and over think things sorry if it sounds like a dumb question.
  12. I have the head sets for the half helmet and my wife headset gets alot of wind noise. Mine not so much I have the windshield to block mine but as you all know she sits up above it. Just wondered if they made a larger foam wind blocker than the one that comes on them. Or if any of you have some home remedy to fix it. Just curious if not thats ok too. So everyone ridr a lot cause winters a comming. Thanks Quicksilver
  13. Hello Everyone: Just one question I need to install a new cluch. And I alredy have the oem fiber and steel plates. But what I was wondering is should I get the pcw heavey duty spring or the barnett plate and springs. Which might be better? Thanks in advance Quicksilver
