I vote for anywhere in the middle of the country, Arkansas, Missouri, etc........I think combining the International rally with Eureka Springs would be a great idea (I think our ever so wise leader has already suggested this:confused24:). I would love to visit Eureka springs and it would be centrally located. After this years experience:cool10:, I am not sure that it much matters where it is held..............I will do everything I can to make sure Baxter and I are there next year.

You can get just the knob now without having to order the whole unit. There is a tech bulletin on it, but many of the dealers don't seem to know that you can get just the knob. You might have to encourage your dealer to do the research. -
Baxter and I pulled in today about 2:00 pm. We took the scenic route home and I must say that it was a very nice trip. It is nice to be home, but now my daughter is asking when I am going to take her to Canada:confused24: Thanks again to the Kitchener crew who pulled off an outstanding event and we are already looking forward to next year. Here are a sampling of the pics that Baxter took.

We are in Victor, NY tonight crashed at a Holiday Inn. I must say that this is much better than floating in the lake this morning:bang head:.................If you had been at Bingemans this morning you would have experienced the 3-4"s of rain that we got last night and the resulting mess. We finally got on the road around 1100 and meet a friend in NY for a while and then headed of to find a laundromat and a hotel. We are going to take the scenic route through NY and PA back to VA over the next 2 days. We were going to head to New England to knock off some states, but I am just not feeling any interstates for the rest of the trip. This was a great rally :clap2:and it was a pleasure to hang out with such fine people. Thanks again to all that worked on this event............Hal, Reiny, Daryl, Carl, Swifty, and anyone else that I am forgetting.

It looks like the belt in this link http://www.childridingbelt.com/enghome.htm They go for around $130. I've though about getting one, but with the drivers backrest it would be kind of difficult. With the drivers backrest and armrests I find that the kids are just fine back there.

Baxter (9) and I will be at Bingemans on Sunday and camping with Hal. How many others are bringing their kids?

Wish I could meet up with you this week, but work is crazy right now. Plus I am taking 2 weeks off starting next Friday to go to the Int'l rally in Kitchener. Hope you enjoy the visit to VA and continue to have a good trip.

OK I finally got around to dealing with this issue again this week. I took the modulite off and got a Hoppy and installed that. Now I have full lights on the trailer, though it took some time to get all the wire connections set good. I do have a problem with the brake lights on my light bars still, but hopefully I can get that resolved this next week:fingers-crossed-emo

I went to MB this year for the first time and was relunctant to do so based on their attitudes on bikes. A group of friends here wanted to go to MB so I went along even though I had my reservations. I had a good time, but I am really ready to tell MB to kiss off and spend my money elseware. The only time that they want motorcyles around is for bike week and now they don't even want that. My inlaws are renting a house there this summer and they don't allow bikes.................. I've got news for them, how do they think that I am going to get to MB? In years past I left my bike at home because of these rules, but not this year. MB get over it and this will be the last year that you get any of my money.:moon::moon::moon:

Can't wait to get there and get our shirts. The countdown has begun and we are starting to test pack the trailer. Thanks for all your hard work and I'll have a beer for you when we get there on the 6th.

Does anyone have a hotel room at Victoria or Sherwood that they want to share to cut costs down? My son (9) and I are planning on arriving on Sunday the 6th and planning on staying until Thursday or Friday. If your interested let me know. I may end up trying to camp at Bingemans if no one wants to split a hotel room. -
What cell phone service do you have? If you have sprint and the right phone, they can track you by your phone.

I am glad to hear that you will not be cancelling the event. My son and I have been looking forward to this for several months now. Even if it is a smaller event, we are looking forward to the trip and meeting some new friends. I sure hope the response picks up in the next week or so. -

I have the modulite controller and mine has the same issues. I have double and triple checked the wiring and it is right. I must have gotten a bad unit. I am going to try to return it and try the hoppie instead.

We just got back from MB tongiht, very windy trip back. I took my computer so I could post up and try to get ahold of some people in the area, but the DUMP that we stayed at didn't have internet access.
