Headed to Maine on Friday 3 June until Thursday the 9th. Unfortunately I'm flying from Seattle to Portland and not taking the Royal Star. If ANYONE is near Richmond Maine on Sunday the 5th of June meet me at the Richmond Grange Hall and help us celebrate my parents 55th wedding anniversary. My Dad has already invited the entire state so I'm inviting the rest of the nation.

Had my 8000 mile service done by a yamaha shop today and they used synthetic blend 20w50 for the oil change. Is this a good weight oil for my 2009 RSV. live and ride in Richmond VA mostly. Thanks for any advice. Have enjoyed venturing through this site over the past few months.

Hi! This Thursday I'm riding from Richmond to Rochester to visit relatives for the long weekend. My route is 95 - 17 - 15. Wave if you see me along the route of 500+ miles. My return is on the following Tuesday. Just look for my cherry/black two tone 2008 RSV. johnb

Anyone near Richmond, VA want to ride???? I am riding again today, just like yesterday. Today I am looking for some company. Meetup is at the McDonalds on Patterson Ave. West of Parham Rd. in the shopping center. Day is today. Time is 12:30PM The ride is to go west on Patterson (Rte6) to 522... then North on Rte522 on 522 - maybe stop for ice cream - see the Iron Steer with flags on it's horns! stay on 522 till Rte33 east on 33 till we decide to stop for a coffee at McDonalds or similar... I have one rider going so far... Wow 2 people! Normally when I set up a ride, I'm the only one.http://img1.meetupstatic.com/img/smileys/biggrin.gif This may be the last chance to ride this year in the Richmond area???? I saw this product advertised on on of the porgrams I watch and was wondering if anyone has used it or even seen it? What do you think of it? There is a dealer close by in Richmond BC I thought I might give it a try. I'm thinking of polishing up some of the aluminum this winter and this might help to keep it shiney longer. Gander Mountain here in Richmond has one of those fleece 4 way balaclava type hoods on sale for $8 (regularly $20). They also have fleece long johns, tops and bottoms, for $10 a piece. 5 below - here in Richmond has some of those small collapsible stools that fit in our saddlebags for $5. Nice little lightweight stool for cheap. Don't know if these deals are available in your area, but if they are you might be able to catch a bargain.

on a Burgundy Venture riding up I95 North this morning around 0715??????? Rode along close up I95,I64 and onto Rt33 until I turned off into work. I haven't seen very many Ventures in Richmond and have yet to meet a member in town, would be nice to catch up with a member so close.
