I normally dont ride to work as I dont like leaving my bike in the jail parking lot. Its not a protected area even with camera's on it at all times. But, I worked last night all night and yes I did ride the bike. I was refreshing to get on it this morning and feel the wind at 6 am.

I am still waiting to see if I have the time off approved Lewis. Marilyn does...now we are waiting.....as we are going to be sort of in the area for the International we thought we would love to do this on our way in the home direction (sort of). Hang in there....hopefully I will know tomorrow night.

Try this link. It might be what you need. http://venturerider.org/forum/showthread.php?t=35033&highlight=tour+packs or maybe just go to the search box and type in tour pack.....there are a number of threads on this for you to look through.

Glad he's ok. It sounds like he's got good support from family regarding the other stuff. A few years from now and he will look back and go....wow...what was I thinking! Been there...lost my t-shirt.....much better this time around!

Doctors!!! Bah....always harping on less food...more excersise...yadda yadda... Narrowing things down is good though. It must have been pretty frustrating (and just a tad scary) not knowing what was going on (or still is). Good news on the little ones....they are tough arent they!

On my old 89 I placed a cigarette lighter on the black plastic just above the false gas tank cover. You will have to drill out a hole. I then used that to plug in my GPS. I have seen a hard wire system on EBAY for the GPS. But you have to make sure its the right one for your GPS. This is wired directly to your battery.

intercom, headset questions

Edsets are popular..not cheap but very well made and good sound. J+M enterprises sells their model as well. Dont bother with the real expensive sets as apparently they dont sound much better than the cheap ones. You need 5 pin cables in case you are wondering. Dont worry if something says for harley as long as its 5 pin it should work. -
Thanks Kenny! That explains it all to me. Father in Law had a stroke a few years ago and he has to watch what he eats and takes a anti-coagelent. Now that explains what he is watching as well.

Kenny I am glad things are working out. I am confused (normal)...what are those coumadin levels and what does that do? And what is a lovelax shot do? Help this poor guard out please!

I think thats pretty cool actually! Not too many get to see that without getting zapped a few times I would think. Bee's= honey...natures perfect food. Not so good if they made your house their home though.

Well first of all I wouldnt dream of selling those to you! I would give them to you but I think if you took the ones that are still attached off and went visiting the dealers you may have more luck. ANother thought I just had....I remember going into a Harley dealer last year and they actually had many differant helmet parts on the rack.
-
I just went down to the kawi dealer.....yes the kawi dealer...and asked him about parts for the exact thing. He pulled out a large box of screws and jibbies for helmets and said for me to take some and see if they work. No charge..I took 5 differant ones and one worked for my daughters face shield. Thats why I went to the kawi dealer.....he is great to work with and I've taken my yammi there for its safety in the past.

Man....thats a shame. It seems to be happening alot to the good folks. Sometimes though, one door closing opens up other doors.

Nice pics and thanks for sharing. Gonna be doing that this August ourselves!

Yikes! Sure glad you guys are ok. That is scary. Hopefully you can get the bike right again.
