I aint saying what I got my 07 with 8800 miles on it for! Rest assured it wasnt that much. However for Canadian pricing this is not terribly out of range. These bikes are expensive up here!
-
Two choices that work. Beads, either store bought ones specific for bikes or full size car ones that you cut to size. There are cheap bike ones at wingthings right now. Or a sheep skin. I've used both and found that on the stock 2nd gen seat the beads worked best. On our last trip to the south I used a sheep skin on my corbin and found that adequate.

We (Marilyn and I and Gord and Laura) made it home safely this evening about an hour and half ago. Shared the road with John and left him west bound at Rugby. He should be home soon as well. What a great PIP! Best weather, great guest of honor....and wow...those beans and the chili. All great. Best of all we got to see some more friends again and keep them up way too late bsing. There was talk of banning us cause we stay up too late and drink too much! Imagine that! Thanks Gary and Ann for sharing your home again. And thanks for all the work done by Russ and Will and Gary and Kris. Without Kris I think the pig would still be running around somewhere! Next time we will remember our passports and not have to return home to get them.... and maybe arrive on time for a change!

Russell Gary anyone at the PIP! We have stopped for the night. We are too far away to make it and dont want to run with the deer! In Grandforks with Gord and Laura at the Select Inn. See you sometimes tomorrow.....with luck by noon....leave instructions as to where you have all gone or were the beer is!

I dont know....but reading the description from RAM it says its for the "Goldwing and many other bikes". Myself I've got the handlebar mount.

Do mercury sticks have restricters? If they are supposed to maybe a couple of these are missing? Sorry, I have a carb tune (it has restricters) and know nothing of mercury.

I was wondering how the ole girl was doing. I heard that she was fine after all the fuss. What a thrill for those ladies!

85 on the trip home...bunkhouse camper.....wouldnt want to have had to stop that beast fast! This was a quick pass situation...normally we are at posted speed unless its over 70.....we cruise at 65-70 as a rule.
-
We were all glad she was fine....I even teased her a little of trying to get the sympathy vote with that bandage... And her bike still has a lot of pretty left on it. I gave my donation the Monday at the International.....handed the cash to the boss himself!

Pretty sure you cant go wider on either the first gen or second gen. Have a look at yours and you will see there is not much room. Second gen owners have changed the front tire for a narrower 130 for more responsive feel.

Glad you guys made it back. And yes, you sure did surprise us at Vogel! Take care and good hunting!

Well. we just rolled in and finished unloading! 5200 miles of smiles! Cats are happy to see us for a change. Grass has been cut by Marilyns son while we were gone. Got to see alot and ride some places I could only dream of. Duck walked the dragon while Marilyn rode little circles around me! (gotta get those levelling links off and see if thats my handling problem!) Another flat on the little trailer Marilyn towed....thats two this trip....the last she drove about five miles without realizing it was toast....she just wondered why the thing was swaying! Hope everyone is fine and safe.

Yous guys! There I was being a good daddy with my daughter...(dang paddle boats are like work!). That and a good swim whilst you were leading her astray! She enjoyed her tour and all kidding side, I thank you both for following her out.

Tom Dont worry about the bottle, we are planning a stop to shop anyway. We need to deal with some issues with Courtney's helmet....she lost some visor screws and now her visor wont stay up....makes it pretty hot for her and she cant get enoug wind that she loves. Cindi We will see what develops here. Thanks for the route info. We remember KC from when we came down in Dec to get my new bike. IT was nuts!

We lost (ditched) Tom and Terri last night. We camped at the KOA and they moteled it. Never to be seen again. We wandered around the country side and finally got to Rock Port Mo. Lots of detours and wrongways and then got to the KOA here and its closed! In the Super8 just off the highway (junction 136 and I29) Gonna research some new roads to avoid KC and we should make it tomorrow to the HUB. The back roads are sure alot more interesting than that superslab! Ride safe everyone!

So will we! Food....sounds like we should just have the ralley right there. Love fresh rolls or bisquits!

As far as coffee goes....Timmies rules. As far as donuts go....Timmies suck....well not that bad but for a real good one I believe Krispy Kreme fresh off the rack is the best I;ve ever had.
