I am not sure if it would fit the Royal Star. I purchased a Hoppe Indsusties Quadzilla Fairing for my bike. It is easy to install and looks great. Very good quality. http://hoppeindustries.com/store/quadzilla-batwing-fairing-royal-star-tour-deluxe-05present-p-37.html Good Luck -
I am planning my 8 day September ride from Calgary to Las Vegas. I was playing with different map tools that are available on the web. I stumbled across the Harley Davidson Rider Planner tool. http://www.harley-davidson.com/wcm/Content/Pages/Ride_Planner/Ride_Planner.jsp?locale=en_US I have been using it to map out my trip and have found it to be very useful. You need to create a profile if you want to save your plans. They will even let you create a profile if you ride something other than a Harley.

I sent an email to Ram support center. Their answer: Good Day, We actually suggest the u-bolt base for your bike but there is a chance the RAM-B-309-1U would work. Unfortunately I am unable to find any pictures of the handlebar set up for your bike so I have attached the drawing for the base as well as the instructions. I would check the measurement between the two bolts holding the break or clutch clamp to your handlebars. Hope this helps. Brian Anderson National Products, Inc. 8410 Dallas Ave. S. I am going to purchase a Ram Mount for my 2006 RSTD. Does anyone know if the Cycle Handle Bar Base (RAM-B-309-1U ) will fit the RSTD? It attaches to the brake/clutch handlebar control bracket . http://www.ram-mount.com/CatalogResults/PartDetails/tabid/63/partid/082065077045066045051048057045049085/Default.aspx

I am using Amsol Synthetic oil. What is the max miles I should travel between oil changes. I have put on 2000 miles since the last change, but I am heading out on a 2500 mile trip in a couple of weeks. Should I change the oil before my trip?

Canadian guys can order from the canadian site www.motorkote.ca. Shipping is $10 -
I passed a small cruiser last night on a country road. It had training wheels! (sorry no camera) Is it legal to use traing wheels on a public road? It doesn't seem all that safe.

Motorkote comments and tracking??
rdhc replied to Judes Dude's topic in Royal Star and Royal Star Tour Deluxe Tech Talk
The motorkote website recommends 2 Ounces per quart of oil in the crankcase. HAs any one asked them if it is ok to exceed their recommendation? -
I see the Motorkote website says that your MPG may improve with their product. Has anyone experienced a change in MPG?

Joe, How much motorkote do you use? Do you use it every oil change? How long have you been using it? Thanks, Randy
