  1. Roh Roh Larry! We are bringing one girl 12...and one boy 16! gonna need a big fence me thinks!!!
  2. We have been waiting for this for a long time! That it is over is great news, that the monster is put away for a while is great as well! That Haylie is doing good is the best over all. She is a sweet kid who didnt deserve this. We are glad that part is over for you guys. Well done sticking to your guns...I cant imagine the agony of it all.
  3. I finally had time to sit and watch. Your girls look great and ladies are fine too! Nice video and I have sure enjoyed everything from your site as well!
  4. We are going to be headed to the Dragon rally after the international. Is anyone else doing the same? There is some time there for site seeing and we are looking either to tag along with someone who wants to do the same. Gotta see as much as possible in those few days as its pretty rare we can get that far away from home. The trip home will be a race of sorts to make it back in time for some cage camping with friends here so we wont have much site seeing time then.
  5. And a diaper by the sounds of it!!
  6. I wanna see that thing loaded up the way you loaded the first gens Charlie! great to have you back on a bike.
  7. Try this link here at our site. It lists a cross reference to all the filters that fit our bikes. I use the supertech from wallyworld. Cheap and a good filter as well. [ame=http://venturerider.org/forum/showthread.php?t=523]Oil Filters - VentureRider.Org[/ame]
  8. If you like the pub type thing.....Wild Bills Legendary Bar and Pub is the place. It gets rocking and the food is very good. Dont expect all the fineries and polish though...this is a pub. The greek resteraunts are good too.....down the road....we ate at Giorgos...I think it was. Good greek food. The Keg in the northern part of the city ripped off my friend by double dipping his credit card.....this was discovered an hour later when he went to purchase another item and was over limit.
  9. I would seriously consider it depending on the price and what he can do.
  10. Good to see you back Charlie......we have missed you! Pics of whatever you bought would be nice!
  11. Thats it .....I aint comin! Kidding of course!
  12. Someone was selling a pretty nice 03 yesterday! Cant find it...must have dreamt that!
  13. Right there with you! Hate the cold as well. But cant/wont wear chaps. Dont like the feeling of being restricted in the legs. Marilyn rarely rides without hers on, even in the heat. Socks are cheap...just buy a new package when the others start to walk out of the tent when you take em off!
  14. Yes and no. The temps can and do get very very warm....80's 90's. They also can get quite cool in the mountains,,,50's 60's. If it was me and my warmth depended on chaps...I would take them.
  15. Some really good bisquits to go with the stew! Love bisquits!
  16. I would if I wasnt to fat to fit any of it! Good deals there Allen.
  17. Do you still have the stock cassette? If so you can get a cassette adaptor to insert and plug the mp3 into and still have the cb/intercom functions. Those adaptors are readily available pretty much anywhere I think.
  18. I've given testimony a couple of times. Each time I was nervous as well...so what you are experiancing is not unusual and probably a good thing really. Like mentioned go slow. All you have is the truth so you wont have to worry about making up stories that get so many crooks caught up. One defense lawyer in a murder trial I had to testify in was on my for about 20 minutes on whether or not someone could have heard some things being said from a cell. It got so monotonese (sp) that I invited to lock him in the cell so that he could tell us whether or not he could hear enough converstation to make up a story! Even the judge had to laugh at that one. Hot shot lawyers are like everyone else....they still gotta put their pants on one leg at a time. You will do fine.
  19. Nice pics Mike....that sure is a nice area isnt it? Thanks for sharing.....I recognize the young lady and thats a good looking young lad there....but I gotta ask....who's the old man with them!
  20. Anyone have a lower cord from intercom to helmet they dont need anymore? The one on my sons helmet is shorting out.
  21. There we go! PM sent Boomer!
  22. Thanks for the offer Doug...but those won't fit my RSV. Apreciate the thought though.
  23. Well, it was bound to happen. With a sigh I pulled into the driveway after playing ball tonight and there was an empty space where the midnight was parked. The new owner came while we were gone and took her away. Good news...its our best buds bike now. Gord (noddy) has bought it and has almost definately sold his 90 to his cousin. The joy just keeps spreading. I will still get to hang around my midnight. Thanks to John (midnightspook) who parted with it a little over two years ago....its a great bike and will be well looked after by Gord. Now to start getting more goodies for my beautiful blue! Folks.....if anyone has a set of risers they are getting rid of let me know. I need them for sure as Gord wanted the ones I had on the midnight left on. I cant afford new bars and cables so the risers will have to do.
  24. Its to do with the aircontroller....I suppose you know that though. But usually its because there are cracks on the computer boards pins. Resolder all the pins and you will be fine. Scroll further down in this post and you will see much more info on this very easy fix.
  25. Oh...God..my poor credit card!!
