    I'm glad its sold as well.....I am looking forward to meeting some folks.....and I think some wives would have killed a few of the members here if they came home with that.....er....right Dan. Or at least locked em up and thrown bread at them...wardens can be tough.

    Yes it can but it is not very big. Also the lights are not very bright at all but offer two differant settings. At night they are pretty good. But a friend was driving the bike today...test drive.....and I happened behind him (son and I were taking stuff to the dump) and I noticed that the thing is not that bright with the sun behind it. It still looks good though.

    Yes you can. I have the same thing and the rack. Works and fits just fine. Its on my midnight.

    Some have just made their own and saved some bucks. I think bigbob used cardboard..it looked good.

    I have a hand held but its not the J+M. That one went with my 89 VR last year I guess. This one has no model numbers or anything to identify the maker.

    You are going to get slightly differant views on this. But, I think most would agree that you are about right. A couple pounds below what the tire is rated for at Max. Actually prevents cupping and extends the life of the tire.

    Good for him! I wish I had stayed with AirCadets as a kid. I would probably have gotten my license. Couldnt afford it now....but if I win that gazillion lottery then watch out!

    Mines there Don. But there may be a problem. I suscribed for one year and mine is showing as expiring in two years. I think I know what happened. I also sent a membership fee for another member who doesnt have paypal. His name on the site is Noddy. real name is Gord Pyatt.

    Warranty issue.....the dealer should have one.

    Nope, they seems to work great, even at altitudes. Sometimes floats stick. Keep em clean as you mentioned and you should have no issues.

    For filters....if you get into the US head for the wallymart and see if you can get their...supertech filters....they are cheap (I bought a bunch for around 1.99 on sale). They are also a good filter. ST7317.

    Dont know if they still do, but they did at one time and those occassionally come up on ebay. Best to enter their site and ask em I guess.
