  1. fourty who ? Seriously, they were my all Time Favorites, but that was when Joe Montana and Jerry Rice where on the Field. Maybe they still are because when i look at the last Scores, the 49er are the ones i look for in first Place. But it's been a long and not so good Time since then. But so are my other Favorites doing ... I can't get a Hook to these nowadys Players and the Free Agent System, even though the Game is much more physical then it was at these Times.
  2. I liked that the Saints took the Risks. 4th Down and Inches on the End of the first Half and the Onside Kick starting second Half showed exactly what they where after... They wanted to win the Superbowl, the Colts acted like they wanted to win a Game...
  3. Sounds like the small Fuel Jets are clogged. Maybe SeaFoam can take care of that. After you got your Brakes done, ride it like you stole it and hopefully this Issue will clear up. If not, there may be a second Carb Clean Job in Order.
  4. To make a long Story short .... I'm GREEN WITH ENVY !! !! !! And won't go any deeper, but i wouldn't mind buying if you're ready to offer something. Like, I'm sitting here with Cash in Hand .... :whistling:
  5. Set the Mixture Screws at 2.5 Turns out (at least for now) and ride the Heck out of the Bike. Exhaust Leaks may Cause Backfire on decel, you need to ride that Thing, hard ...
  6. ... i've read in the other Thread you want to see a Photo of me. Well, to be honest, i don't care much about Pics which contain me, and i have none on my own. But .... every now and then a Pic with me is popping up somewhere... So, i finally found one to show you. It has been taken on the Drag Racing i've contributed on October, 18 last Year. Here it is ... http://www.torsten-konrad.de/gallery/beschlrennen5/viertelmeile09_176.jpg Don't get me wrong, I'm the Guy on the left Side of the Picture ...
  7. Well, there's hope ... http://wildbros.com/images/CLEARRIGHTSIDE2.jpg Those from OTEC are NOT cheap, though. But .... I also could arrange a Clear Cover from a Buddy here. Send me a Vmax Cover and 130 Euros...Black or Polished as you prefer.
  8. Well, I'm not that experienced in your Task, but if i were you, I'd either look for a used Setup on Ebay, with a SCSI Connection because it still works much faster than most other Links. And i'd look for something with an automatic Changer. It's really odd to sit there and change Slide by Slide by Hand, wait 30 Seconds, change, klick, wait 30 Seconds, change, klick ... If you have so much Slides to scan, I'd probabaly look for a Professional doing this for me. They usually have much better Equipment than the Home Operator (which one you have to invest in for this Job). In the End it might cost you a but more Money, but you most likely will have better Data and not a LOT of Time wasted by setting up the Hardware, finding a Pic Program for the Job and giving the Slide Jockey for countless Hours.
  9. OK, so you got the short Rod pushed back in after opening the Bleeder. Then you pulled the Clutch Lever again and the same mechanical Lock-up occured. I assume you mounted the Clutch Pressure Plate before pulling the Lever again ? If so, there are two Possibilties, first would be the Lever or the Piston inside the Master is not returining to the outermost Point and therefore not opening the Relief Hole. Second would be the Relief Hole on the Bottom of the Clutch Master is clogged and/or the Seal inside Master is defective and clogging up the Relief Hole. I'd make sure the Clutch Pressure Plate is mounted properly, then carefully opening the Lid on the Master and take a Look at the two Holes on the Bottom. You should see the Seal wandering through both Holes when slowly pulling the Lever and changing the Color again when releasing the Lever. I you use a a Light, you should see the Seal move through both Holes. If not, there's something wrong either at the Connection between Lever and Piston or inside the Master.
  10. Undo the Clutch Cover, undo the Clutch Pressure Plate (six Bolts M6, 10mm Head) and place a piece of Wood on the End of the short Rod and give the Wood a whack with a Hammer. If you didn't loose the Ball, you might accidently pulled the Clutch Lever while the Pressure Plate was off and now the Clutch Slave is stuck in most extended Position. Once the Rod is loose you can push it back with your Hand.
  11. Sounds like you lost the Ball between the long Rod and the short mushroom shaped Rod which needs to come out before the Clutch Nut. It's a 11/32" Ball from a Ball Bearing.
  12. When trying to shift the Bike an the Stand, you someone to turn the rear Wheel. Depoending how the Dogs on the Gears stand to each other, you won't get one or two Gear engaged.
  13. For me this looks like running a bit rich on 1 & 2 plus Oil Rings stuck on those both. Probably from babying the Motor a little too much. I'd replace the #2 Rings on the left Side and hone #1 Cylinder a little bit. Then ride the Heck out of it... Google for Motoman Break-In Procedure, read his Story and use 2/3 of what he's suggesting.
  14. Wild Star/Raiders have 14mm Piston Masters with 1 Inch Handle Bar Clamp in both Versions, black or chromed Master. It's not like a 5/8" Master wouldn't work. Most of those Guys i know say the 14mm Master works better, myself included, some say it's a must have, but there are 2 or 3 who love the Bite of the 5/8" Master. Most People love the 14mm better, because it allows much better Control and is much more sensitive. You should ride your Bike with the 5/8" and if you're not completely satisfied, get a 14mm and be a happy Camper.
  15. Actually, it's much easier on our Bikes Bikes than on Cars. Because there are only two thick Wires, one is forthe Starter and the other handles all of the Rest. An Amp Meter has it's Values, especially when running heavy Loads on the Charging System AND you're able to switch various Loads on Demand. Like others mentioned when you read "0" on the Amp Dial, you're not charging nor draining the Battery. If there's a 5 A Value showm to one Side, your either charging or draining the Battery. That all said, a Voltmeter has is Values also, all mentioned above. Best Option would be both.
  16. See his Shadow ??? Well excuse me, i thought they where blind to begin with ? Seems a was wrong ... Either Way, this white Mess has to stop. I wanna RIDE !!!
  17. You're right. But this is what the Shims are for. For setting the proper Gear Lash.
  18. Not to mention MotoGP, Indy CAR or F1 or even LSR ....
  19. What ?? Only three Bikes ?? ?? I got four Bikes and my Wife doesn't even think about it ... :fingers-crossed-emo:thumbsup2::whistling:
  20. Well Mike, come on over. :happy34: But be prepared to get screwed and/or shafted one or the other Way on each and every other Corner... Seriously, Cars, Bikes and Parts, just about everything is much more expensive over here, and not only because our Gov' is charging nineteen Percent Value added Tax on everything except Food, Newspapers and some other Things of daily Expense.
  21. Just looked ... the Rubbers are 2.26 at Partshark.com http://www.partshark.com/fiche_section_detail.asp?section=21608&category=Motorcycles&make=YAMAHA&year=1993&fveh=551 6 RUBBER,MOUNT 1 2GH-1111G-00-00 16 $3.25 $2.26
  22. You should be able to locate Aftermarkets Rubbers for the Cover Bolts. Maybe our Diaphragmn Retailer Sirius carries them too. I buy them all the Time here in Gemany, about 1.50 Euro each here. They work much better than the old, hard Rubbers and i had no Problems sine Years with them. They might be not as good a OEM, but at 6 Bucks each, i'll get very cheap.
  23. Well, I'll keep my Fingers crossed for you being back in the Work Force... for Lonna in first Place and for you also ... :fingers-crossed-emo
  24. Changing to Pinlock is the best Solution,no doubt
  25. My oh my ... sounds like you're pretty much screwed ....
