Yes Dan, except that Scene at 6:07 where he almost highsided the Bike while going out of the tight left Hander. That's just the Torque the Motor provides....

Well, I'm not going to play Devils Advocate here, but probably these misguided Folks and their bad Attitude and Actions brought up something real big and good in the End. PGR is uniting People all over the US and stand by Friends and Relatives who payed the ultimate Price. They get the feeling that they are not alone, and that's a good and important Thing. Long after the WBC is a only small black Spot in History, the PGR still will shine.

I can assure you, the Sound on the Video is not what you hear on this Bike. I don't know where he had the Mic placed, but mine has a singing Sound coming from the upper Valve Train at lower RpM and it really screams at mid and high Rev, which he never approached in the Vid. You should also keep in Mind, we have pretty restricting Noise Laws over here. You'll hear that next Year, because US EPA Rules from 2010 on are nearly a blue Print from european Regulations.

Need help with carberator
Squeeze replied to etohio's topic in Venture and Venture Royale Tech Talk ('83 - '93)
My small USC is a 4 Liter. It takes two Carbs (barely) with the small Parts hamging in a Net. Works wonders fast. My big USC is a 45 Liter Bassin, would take the whole Carb Set unsplitted, but you can't get the Fuel Bowls off without splitting the Set.- 16 replies

Oldest & YOungest: WHO WAS 77 YR OLD RIDER? Lost record. Help!
Squeeze replied to Zfrebird4's topic in Watering Hole
Sorry Annie, i don't know of any Woman who rides a Venture, but i know at least from five Women riding a 2Gen VMAX. There's vmaxbabe in the Netherlands, Hanshi in New Zealand, Randy and Gracie in US and Swoozie from Australia who even set a new Record at the Bonneville Speed Week this Year. And there are at least 4 Women here in Gemany riding 1Gen Maxxes too. One of them is riding a Suzuki B-King(naked 1300 cc Hayabusa) as her second Ride. -
Earl is right, the VMAX uses Shim under Bucket and you need to undo the Cams to change the Shims. Preliminary, i think they used 9mm Shims. But not only this, you have to dismount the Motor to do the Job .... :255: Specs call for Clearance Check at 24000 mls, but I'll do that around 15000 mls. Nevertheless, I'm really looking forward to the Time where the first Clearance Check needs to be done. Because ... that means a had a Lot of wonderful SMiles on the '09 ... :happy34::happy34: Regarding the Tool, this Tools works on each of our V4 Variations, 1Gen, Vmax, 2Gen, 1200cc, 1300cc whatever.

De-linking brakes idea for 83
Squeeze replied to dingy's topic in Venture and Venture Royale Tech Talk ('83 - '93)
I never would use old rubber Brake Line to "upgrade" my Brake. Those rubber Lines expand over the Years, and that what you don't want to have. Even if newer Rubber Lines are as half as old as those you have you'll loose a Lot of the new gained Braking Power because the hydraulic Force is used to expand the Lines first, then move the Pistons in the Calipers. Get a Set of S.S. Lines and be done with it forever. Might cost you more Money in first Place, but you'll never know how much you gave away until you finally replace the oldf Lines in three Years or so. Yammi recommends replacing all Rubber Type Brake (and Clutch) Lines every four Years, and if a Point of their Maintenance Schedules is right then it is this four Years Period. Period. -

New 2006 RSTD Break - In
Squeeze replied to GOINtoHELL's topic in Royal Star and Royal Star Tour Deluxe Tech Talk
Short Answer, ride it briefly within the first 50 mls and don't put too much load on the Engine(1/3 rd Throttle), after that, start to get on it in short Burst and lots of Motor decel. DO NOT BABY the Motor. The Task is to get the Rings properly seated into the Cylinder Walls and while you let the Bike coasting down, the Fillings will be sucked away from the Cylinder Walls by the Vaccuum which is created under decel. Here's the Procedure described in a very hard Manner, it did my '09 VMAX at about half the Brutalitiy and it pulls like Freight Train. http://www.mototuneusa.com/break_in_secrets.htm Another Key is change the Oil early. Say, first Change at 150 mls, then again at 600 mls and a third change at 1000 mls. Of course, use only cheap non synthetic Oil. I'd change the final Drive Oil every Time i change the Engine Oil during Break-In. -

83 TCI change to later model question
Squeeze replied to dingy's topic in Venture and Venture Royale Tech Talk ('83 - '93)
Yes it is. There should be a small directional Arrow on the Restrictor. This Arrow point towards the Pressure Sensor. If nobody messed with the Setup in the Pic, usually the shorter Hose goes onto the Manifold Port. -
Valve adjusting questions
Squeeze replied to dingy's topic in Venture and Venture Royale Tech Talk ('83 - '93)
It doesn't matter much regarding Valve Clearance, but you have something mixed up with teh Cylinder Notation. Cyl #1 is left rear Cyl #2 is left front Cyl #3 is right rear Cyl #4 is right front When sitting on the Bike. It matters much if you go with the Manual and turn the Crank to the Position which Yammi says to check the Clearance. -
I think you have a Typo here ... "We" might the correct Word. Because, YOU are also Part of it and this is what it makes this Forum so great. The People, all of them. Also a a Happy Thanksgiving to all from over here too.
