My 2006 was the same way, except I didn't drop my wheel until the rubber needed replaced at 9K. I'm surprised they don't have more warranty claims.

1sttenor replied to 1BigDog's topic in Royal Star Venture Tech Talk ('99 - '13)
I'm on my second Elite 3 130 and have had no trouble losing pressure. Sounds odd??? -

Have you noticed the thread count on this! There are a bunch of us who seem to think the same thing...great machine, but it would be nice to have a little more input from the engine. I hope that if/when there ever it a 3rd gen, they put some gauges on it! -

I've been thinking about this. I wonder if you could get that Koso tach with temp gauge and somehow put it in the middle with the oil pressure and ampmeter on either side. I know you'd probably have to do some adjustment for height as the Koso tach appears to be 2 1/4 inches including bezel. I know there's not much room side to side. Is there enough to do this? That would be the best of all worlds. A tach, water temp, ampers, and oil pressure in three small gauges and the loss of a useless tape player. Oh and by the way, "socks on a toad" is just a hillbilly term. My wife hates it when I revert to my raisin'. -

Kinda reminds me of a snazzy updated Munstermobile! He/She had a load of cash just in the paint, I'd say.

I've never put more than 4.8 in...and that when I'd been on reserve for 20 miles. Thought sure I was gonna walk on that one.

Amen, Brother!

Where are you planning to travel this summer?
1sttenor replied to Yama Mama's topic in Watering Hole
How long does your summer last up there? Winter's too long here, and its only 3-4 month long. -
saturday morning ride from st charles to herman
1sttenor replied to Snarley Bill's topic in Watering Hole
What time were you planning to get to Hermann? If I can work it out, I was going to try to meet MoRiverRat at Hermann Saturday, to give him the pipes I promised him. Never mind, just looked at the forecast and looks like rain. I have a brand new tire on and really don't want to hit wet roads with it. -
Good for you.

Long hair and bell bottoms...those were the days. I still miss my hair, although I'm lucky and still have it. I had a 69 Grand Prix with a 455 and 4.10/posi. Wonder I didn't wrap it around a tree the next owner did in a week. were watching out for me.

NW Arkansas, SW MO in April Colorado in Late August, just before the snow flys in the passes, I hope! -
AS said earlier in the post, our God is awesome. Keep the faith, He knows your dilemma.

My HD riding buddy say so. For what its worth.

We rode the Dragon East to West, or South to North, which ever way you want to look at it, then went across the Foothills parkway and stayed in Townsend at the Econolodge or Comfort Inn. One or the other, it was nice and very scenic! We had the wives with us or we'd have stayed at one of the MC campgrounds.
