  1. So, someone said to me the other night that they wouldnt give a rats ass. It got me to thinking. Do people really give anyone a rats ass as a gift or something or is it a folklore thing? Cmon, its pouring rain outside now and im bored to death. I truly know that at least one of you here really does give a rats ass. Lets here from yas......

  7. Just got a call from Jeff he's in Kandahar. He's not gonna work on the 60's though he said he'll be working on Apache's. He's staying in temp housing which is a big tent with a bunch of other guys till he gets his permanent set up. Also his tools haven't gotten there yet. Not sure where they are. But he's gotten to where he's suppose to be. So now he can get into a routine. Hopefully that will make time go faster for him. It's gotta be better then sitting around waiting. Especially for him he gets bored so easily. Margaret
  8. Yea, Im bored.........
  9. Well i got bored, and was tired of reaching for the remote. So let me know what you think.
  10. Well Ive read MANY threads about peoples concerns taking their RSV to the Mountains. Last year we went as high as 12600 feet iAt Ft Collins,Co, a pop or two was all that I noticed. This week Debby and I are in Ouray,Colorado and have been to 12220 feet and NO pop at all. My friends cant believe a carbureted bike can take these altitudes like mine is doing. Alot of HD riders up here but everyone has been very friendly. We took a day trip to Arches Natl Park yesterday,420 round trip, and it was beautiful but HOT! The big arch that was most recognizable fell 2 weeks ago so no pics of it!.Will post more pics when i get bored. Tom
  11. Hilarious as all get-out ! Sorry if I did intentionally place this in the Watering Hole , but I think this Marine deserves the credit . A US Marine at a roadway checkpoint, bored to tears, talking to a Baghdad-bound Iraqi taxi driver. You have to understand Marine humor in combat-a little on the sick side, but very funny. This lad's sarcasm and cynicism is profound and hilarious. This is why the Commandant of the Marine Corps tried to have the Marines pulled from Iraq and sent to Afghanistan, because the lance corporals were complaining that they had no one to shoot at. Of course, Secretary Gates turned him down, so now the Marines are passing the word via cab drivers for the insurgents to come out and play . http://www.qubetv.tv/videos/detail/3483 BEER30
  12. After several beautiful 70 deg plus days, it has decided to go back down in tbne 40's mist rain and generally be rotten. So in my broedom of this raining Sunday I thought I would review the progress made so far in the first month of Venture Ownership and take some updated pictures. First and foremost is this site!! Tons of great ideas, dramtiacally shortened the learning curve on ins and outs of my new bike, plus nmade some great new friends! Also I have started down the path of spending tons of money on accessories just for the fun of it, thank god I have a wife that thinks like me Anyway here is what I came up with and some updated pics, nothing fancy but I am having SOME fun:sign woo hoo: Updates so far......... Carb Sync Rear Hub Assembly Re-greased and Shimmed Change over to Synthetic Oils Yamaha Chrome Choke Knob Baron's Nasty Boys 4-2-4 Pipes Baron's Extreme Slash Tips Yamaha Passing Lamps Yamaha Light Visors all around Yamaha Chrome Oil Fill Plug Yamaha Chrome Star Trunk Rack Yamaha Star Billet License Plate Frame AIS Plugged R-Mark Quick Saddlebag Removal System Here are some pics, also one of Deb's bike taken last weekend with her winter add on's down by the river.
