  1. I'll be praying that God has something special for you!
  2. Do you have no shame...tempt us like that and cut us off at the pass!
  3. Thank God, He's always on the job, watching over us. Prayers Sent
  4. Yesterday morning 6/2 I was going to Columbia, MO to be with my dad for surgery. At about 8:45AM I met a red/blk (08?) Venture heading south on 63 out of Columbia. Was it one of you guys? Thats a 4 lane so I didn't see what plate was on the bike. I rarely see other RSV's around here.
  5. Do you have Microsoft streets and Trips, if so I've got several routes I could send you.
  6. Goose you are right. Once I found it, no problem really. Unfortunately, I didn't wait to read your post, but I did get to know her better. Problem is its still not wanting to start. Fuel pump is working, new fuel filter and yes I recheck to make sure I did have it flowing backward. I had already ordered new plugs last week to do a tuneup before a trip to CO, so I'll do that if that doesn't do it...to the stealer.
  7. Well this morning I went to the garage and backed old reliable out. It started and ran for a few seconds and then quit as though its starved for fuel. So I decided to go to Yama and get a fuel filter. Got home and jacked it up and I can't even see it. Help!
  8. Very nice, you'll love it!
  9. I suppose I'm lucky...about half of the guys I ride with ride GWs, the rest are Hardlys and 2 Ventures. We all are happy just to meet up and RIDE...
  10. I agree.
  11. Goose, I've had similar experience with E3 wear. While I ride 1-up most the time, when I am two up-it's with the trailer FULLY loaded, so its being put to the test. Right now I expect to get 15K out of the E3s on average last one was 16,500. I do think they handle as well as any tire I've ever had on any bike including Avons.
  12. I have never had any problems with spraying water on the speakers. I am assuming that they mean a direct stream. I would avoid that for fear of damaging the speaker, but they like everything else on the bike are waterproof. The only thing you need to worry about is any after market electronics you might put on like XM radio or a GPS. As for washing, I use the Mr. Clean car washing system. It does a great job and spraying with the de-mineralizer it dries almost spotless. I used to spend 3 hours washing, drying, and polishing the bike. Now I spend 20 minutes and it's just as clean. My only recommendation is to do it in the shade or keep the bike wet until you spray with the de-mineralizer. What demineralizer?
  13. .380 ammo is in short supply nationwide I understand. I needed ammo to qualify with my off duty pistol and found two boxes of .380 in the whole state.
  14. IGNORE! That's harsh, not notice might me better
  15. I'm a Glock man as well, as most LEOs are. However, I carry a PPK off duty, while on the scoot and such. Both are very reliable, but if I were saving my life...Glock they just work
  16. I too have RKs. I made the brackets, but you can buy them here. http://www.venturerider.org/classifieds/showcat.php?cat=all&stype=1&si=road+king
  17. Do you have a pic of our finished product?
  18. Should be!
  19. Man! You guys are impressive. I know where I'll go if I have puter problems.
  20. Sweetnothing I just PP'd for 2. Thanks for doing this.
  21. Got mine direct from Morgan. Six business days to my door. That's faster than USPS can get a letter to my parents, 100 miles away, some times!
  22. That's what I do as well. A bit more expensive, but way worth it!
  23. Good one!
  24. The backrest isn't standard equipment, its mandatory equipment!
