  1. Sorry I hadn't seen your post. Yes in Mo you have a right to see the report and yes there may be things that are "blacked out", but the open records law requires that they give you the report. If the PA's office has an advocate go thru them and it will likely cost you nothing. Good Luck
  2. I hate to be nosey, but roughly what did the light upgrade run? Just tell me if its none of my business.
  3. I haven't installed one, but I carry a small battery powered one thats about 2x4x4 inches in my saddlebag. It seems to have as much capacity as my 1500 GW, though.
  4. Let's do it.
  5. They can't decide what its going to do in central Mo. One moment 4 inches of snow the next rain. Boy I hope its rain! Good luck to those of you who are about to be hammered!
  6. You beat me to it.
  7. What do you attribute the "Blow-Out" to? Did you hit something?
  8. Shouldn't be. Good preventative maint is 1 can of SeaFoam every 3 months. If your experiencing a rough idle it may be that you need to balance the carbs. Easy job, but you'll need mercury sticks/carbtune/etc. That usually takes 20 minutes.
  9. I would absolutely agree with you regarding 404s, but E3 are like night and day to 404s, both in handling and wear.
  10. YOu can get clamps at the Harley Shop for about $16 that are chromed and thats all you'll need.
  11. Doe this mean the 1st Gen riders have class and we (2nd gen) riders don't????
  12. Avon's or E3s either will work great. You'll think someone just took 200 pounds off the bike. I personally like the smaller 130, and have not noticed any following of the "road snakes".
  13. They're E3s and 18-20K for the rear dependant on 1 or 2 up and how much trailer towing. (Trailer is hard on rears in mountains!) Fronts are running 22K, m/l.
  14. By the way, if you braid your chains and leave just enough room to turn you'll not be dragging them and IF the trailer does ever bread loose, you'll have very little play that your concerned about.
  15. That did it thanks!
  16. Make your brackets, bolt'em on and enjoy.
  17. I have a set of the Bakers. They are not very pretty, but are very functional and only take a couple of minutes to put on and take off. I put mine on when the weather gets above 85 degrees and man its a big improvement. I take them off when it cools in the fall. I once took a long two-day ride in December and put them on and it was very nice then too!
  18. Yeah, I do a bit of singing. Still enjoy it.
  19. Now THAT'S what I'm talking about!
  20. O all knowing moderators... I probably have a stupid question, but I'll ask anyway. Why do some of the threads appear on my monitor a screen width, but some are much wider and I have to scroll to the right to read them? Is there something I need to set differently? Thanks in advance for the help!
  21. I won't think your 26 year old Venture is outdated - if you won't think my 3 year old Venture is 26 yrs outdated!
  22. I've been a believer for about 2 years! With or without the trailer, rain or dry, I like them.
  23. May God bless you for a quick recovery.
