Has any of you had made or know of anyone who has experienced a Russell Daylong Seat. They are custom made seats according to your size and weight. I`m 330 lbs and there is to much of me for the stock seat and the horn of the seat is a little uncomfortable. Height is not a problem as I have a passenger " Pro Pad " on the driverseat with a black sheepskin covering that. Would like to get rid of all that and find a good custom seat. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

I would like to personally thank Dennis and Valerie Traynor for being the host of the Central Ky Memorial Weekend ride that myself and a bunch of other nice people I met attended. They were gracious to open up their beautiful home and feed a diverse group with a common love for riding motorcycles on Friday with two more wonderful days of riding and some of the most beautiful countryside to be seen. With this event even larger than last year, It is my hope that they continue to do this for all the fun that was had. If not, then it has been an honor and a privilege to meet these two wonderful people. The routes planned were great and the eateries that we attended were awesome. Again, Thanks form this big `ol Ky. boy from Catlettsburg. Harry Caines (a4pumper).

Does anyone out ther have a passenger backrest pan to fit a 2009 Royal Star Venture trunk? Doesnt matter if cushion is torn or in good shape. I recon anything 1999 to 2009 will work. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Does any of you use the electric clothing made by Widder or Gerbing? My question, Is the RSV electrical system big enough to sustain a jacket, pants, gloves, and insoles that are heated? Any help with this question will be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Passenger seat only suggestions

You might consider taking the seat to a reputable car upolsterer and talk about putting a different density foam or ask him what he can do about making the seat more comfortable. This is alot cheaper than having to ship the seat across the country and can be done normally in a few weeks. -
This is my first bike with electronics such as radio, CB, Cassette, etc, and I was wondering if I need to take any special precautions to protect them while riding in the rain? How about any tips when washing the bike? I love this `09 RSV "S" and any help will be greatly appreciated. This is a great site!

I own a 2006 Roadie and hope to own a wonderful bike like yours one day. I enquired to an ebay ad a while back concerning saddle bag bolts that were made for Ventures and wondered if these guys could make me a set for the roadie. He quoted me a price of $25.00 for the set and makes them out of a harder bolt than Yamaha produces and comes with a cold rolled knob for the head so you don`t need a tool to remove them. Thank you for taking my question. Are the headlights on a Venture "remotely adjusted" while setting on the bike from somewhere on the fairing or done somewhere else on the front of the bike? This option is listed on the features page of the bike on the Star website but I can`t find any knob or electric switch to make this work. Excuse my ignorance and any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

I was considering buying a `01 black cherry Royal Star Venture with 10,000 miles for $9500.00. Is this about right for this bike? Any help will be greatly appreciated, thanks.
