Why pay 3 to 4 thousand more for an 09 (unless you really like the CD player) when you can get a really good price on 07/08 bikes
-
I didn't know Yamaha had a 3rd color for the 08 bikes, I only know of the Charcoal Silver and BlackCherry/Raven Are you sure you know what you bought :whistling: Congrats on the new bike and of course YOU broke the rules here, where are the PICS

I have been following this thread with interest. Mechanic is long legged too, and I so far none of the adjustable passenger boards lower, they all seem to come up.. I guess they think the ladies like having their knees in their face.

My new ClearView Windshild
Sleeperhawk replied to Seaking's topic in Royal Star Venture Tech Talk ('99 - '13)
Freebird, I had emailed them Saturday and asked them about their sheilds. Looks like they have two different widths and heights. I was planning on calling them tomorrow, and get more specifics. I want to know if the shield slants more like the Clearview or upright like the OEM shields. Here is there reply: Yep we have them now and they are 14.5,17.5 17.5 wide, 19.5 wide Let me know how we can help Don Frank -
Go back to the original post, cruisercustomizing is part of a web link and Baron's is spelled with 1 R.

I will try to get some of us going from this area. This will definitely be a long ride for us. Bobbie and I will be glad to check out your "Dungeon" Sunday night. The only thing that will stop us from coming, is if Gustav decides to track North early.

Actually, I thought the ladies took pictures for when they get old and senile (can't remember anything right, need proof supposedly :rotf:) If ladies had to remember to put the lid down every time like us guys have too, they wouldn't need any pictures to remind them of how to do things properly. :rotf::rotf::rotf:

I found a 06 white for $11,400 http://www.abernathycycles.com/new_vehicle_detail.asp?sid=08704187X8K24K2008J6I01I14JPMQ1205R0&veh=21656&CatDesc=Motorcycles&ModelYear=2006 Also, I would tell not set up fee, especially for a 2 year old bike.

Read the same article, will be there in that area around the 5 of October. :cool10:

I always thought the 2nd gen road better 2up. When I take it to work everyday, there is a definite lightness to the back and buffeting is a lot more noticeable when by myself.

So far cannot find any updates in the Oxford and Anniston news area.

Speaking of LaunraMat, did anyone see the Automatic Bike Wash on American Choppers the other night. Currently in the test changes, but way cool the prototype was.

HELP! Carb Sync & Idle Speed
Sleeperhawk replied to PaleRider's topic in Royal Star Venture Tech Talk ('99 - '13)
If you followed Yamaha's instructions in their manual, it is wrong. There is a write up in the tech section on how to carb sync the proper way. -
I always thought those speed signs posted at curves were the Suggested Speed for that curve, not an actual speed limit zone.

That sounds like a great idea Ozark Looks like Dragonrider has some coordination to do :cool10:

Lewis Bobbie and I will be back home around the 12th of Oct. The only weekend we have free in Oct is 18th or Halloween weekend. We definitly want to be in on this ride.

I will be making a deposit of $100. I think Mechanic will be sore for a while

Yep, running E3 on the front and rear, both standard size tires. With the Flander bar mod, I am okay with the slow speed manuvering.

That is what we did, traded before warrenty was up, like 1.5 left on the 05. Like this new color and the chrome forks
