Yeah, its called the Holidays, lets gouge them again. :no-no-no:
-
Yeah sure you will. If Don could find the post from back in o4/05 winter, you were saying the same thing. :rasberry:

Yeah, you would have thought so :whistling:, but I guess that is akin to buying a vacum cleaner for a Christmas present. :no-no-no: Ok, she really does like the heated gear, but I was not happy about that being her Christmas present, that was her idea. But she is still being really bad :cool10:

Instead of imagining this picture of BEER30, we could post the pic we were sent, but I told her not too as this is a G site and even I have to go see the Psych now. That was way too much sensory input for me :rotf:

Surprise me , then I will see if the surprise is worth your Christmas present. :178:

Right now, she is being ????

They forgot the third option, snowmobile but I do like the concept though.

I haven't bought her anything yet, but if she keeps being bad , she may not get anything.
-
Ummm, she will now know what her present is after seeing these photos. Nice bow like the pattern.

I guess we all invited then, according too our spouses we all are pain in the butts.

Thanks Ruffy, next time I will give them a try.

I am waiting for the part to arrive, which I am being told will be here sometime next week now. I just happened to ask the question if the part was damaged during shipping, how do I go about returning the part and getting a replacement. I was then told to contact the shipping company as the Yamaha dealer would not be responsible for any damage. I will be taken pics of the box and as I unpack the items. I am hoping the part will not be damaged during shipping but who knows. I am more frustrated with the fact that I ordered the parts on Dec 4 and was told they would ship out Monday and was told on the phone "Oh, we putting that order together now and shipping out later today." That is why I usually deal with the dealer in Sumter SC, at least they are up front when something is being delayed or parts were damaged, they made good. I am dealin with South Seattle Sports Plaza. Yes, I know they have good prices, but if that is their attitude , I most likely will not deal with again.

The question I have is about buying parts, the part is shipped and was damaged. Who is responsible for the part to replaced at no cost to me, the shipper or the company I bought the part from? So far every company I have bought parts from have stated if the part is damaged in shipping, they would replace it, but not this particular Yamaha dealer. Was told to go through the shipping firm, otherwise I am out the money I paid for the damaged part.

The January 2009 for Cycle World has a couple page article on the bike. This bike was strictly sold in Japan and Europe during the past year, but is selling in the US for 2009. Supposedly the transmission has no scheduled maintenance and they're saying the HFT transmission is a very real possibility of being incorporated into the Wing. Kind of neat looking though, but I don't see this for the long haul.

Mechanic and I went on 16 day short ride out West (Arizona Colorardo), only about 7,000 miles. Loved every minute. Would do it again in a heartbeat.
-
Not often I see Mechanic not taking a pic, good job.

Well, when we left Riderduke's place Saturday morning for Virginia Beach it was 16F, and everyone thought what a great ride. So as long as there is no rain, ice or snow I am riding.

Here are Mechanic's pics. not many, I would not let her take her gloves off to take pictures. http://s7.photobucket.com/albums/y262/venturerider/Sleeperhawks%20Mechanic%20VA%20ME%2020081206/

Rear Light Bar- Turn Signals and Brake Lights?
Sleeperhawk replied to birin's topic in Bike Accessories
Here is a link to a thread showing a light bar I put on the trunk and the same one on the rack. This has the combination left, right signals in read, along with the tail light and brake light. The thread has the parts listed also. http://www.venturerider.org/forum/showthread.php?t=27465 -

I sure do miss pheasant and quail hunting on Turkey weekend. Even when it was snowin and blowin Dad and I went out hunting for these other birds, much better tastin than Turkey and Chicken. Since I am down in SC (no pheasants), pretty much given up hunting except when I go back to Kansas on the holidays.

Plus most around here are charging $75 to $85 per hour if it not warranty work. No way, been learning how to do most things myself. Now if someone will just show me how to lube the throttle cables :whistling:
