They may pay good money but we get it, and more, for a mere $12 a year. Shaun

LOL, at first I thought the blue barrel was strapped to the bike also. But I do think ya might be able to get a few more bags on there. Shaun

That is some very nice work. Great looking helmet. Shaun

Well yesterday was Easter Sunday. That meant spending the day at the in-laws overeating, watching a game and listening to the kids play/argue/fight whatever. The entire time I am looking at the thermometer reading 64 degrees, with nice sunshine, and a slight breeze with my scoot in the garage at home without even putting a mile on it. Did not even get a chance to even look at her. What a bum way to spend a beautiful spring day. Shaun

So are you going into production with these, I bet you could sell a few. Shaun

First question, What bike? With my gen 1 I am pretty much stuck with the 4 inch, unless I want to do some major modifications. Shaun

CLASS problem
Reddog170 replied to Reddog170's topic in Venture and Venture Royale Tech Talk ('83 - '93)
Went through the wiring and cleaned the connectors. Also found that once I get air in the system that I can hear some leaking out through the compressor. Tearing all that apart will be a job for next weekend. Thank You for the help, Shaun- 6 replies

Well I think I am in need of some new clutch springs, at the least. I took my scoot out today with my wife and just let her run. About 4000 rpm I could feel the clutch starting to slip, not much just a little slip, and only in 3rd gear up. Do you all agree that just a spring upgrade is all I need or do I need to think about an entire clutch altogether. Thank You. Shaun I think SkyDoc sells the clutch stuff, will have to dig around.

This is a sad reminder of what happens when you just ride and do not think. I think if we do not think about the dangers and just ride it will become more dangerous. I have fun every time I ride, and think about what "Might" happen in every turn, maybe just to keep myself on my toes. Shaun

Here it is in a nutshell. One time I will get on and the compressor will start as soon as I turn the key, but adding very little air the the suspension. The next time I turn on the key it dumps the air. Any ideas? This is getting very frustrating. Oh yea, the display shows either 8.8 or 0 all the time it is on. Shaun

You will be in our prayers as well. Wish you the best. Shaun -
Loosing one you love is never easy. Your mom clearly was a great woman. I offer my condolences for your loss. Great write up. Shaun

So has anyone even been close yet? Man this is almost as bad as waiting on the new parts to come in. Shaun:backinmyday:

Good reason to run from the Police I guess.
Reddog170 replied to Snaggletooth's topic in Watering Hole
To me it sounds like a good way to get killed. With no license and no insurance all he needed was one little thing to happen and he would be in a world of hurt. I do not think I would have the guts to drive without insurance much less a license. Oh well he will have to pay for this the rest of his life. There is NEVER a reason to run from the police. You cannot get away, they have radios, cameras, and helicopters. If you think you got away go to a public place and find out. This kid was not using his head at all. Shaun -
I do not know if we want Boomer in on a group hug, his pygmies may hitch a ride to a new home.. LOL. The biggest problem with communication on an open forum like this is there is no way to get tone of voice across. So depending on your mood you might take it as it is meant or you may take it a a slam against you personally. The good part here, people are willing to forgive and forget. Anyways eating your own words aint bad, they just need a little salt. Shaun

Well let me tell you this. I sold a chiller for a marine aquarium over a month ago to a guy, he broke it and filed a claim through paypal. Paypal took the money out of my account before I knew what was happening.

Wish I were closer, I would help out in a heartbeat. Hope she recovers soon. Sad news. Shaun

I will say this. I have hard wired stuff together but then had to work on them later and cursed myself for hard wiring. IF the connectors are clean and maintained then there should not be any problem. But with higher current you will need to check your connections more often. This is more just to be safe. A little moisture, a little leftover soap that always finds its way to the worst spots, or even that spilled cup of joe may cause you a major problem. However should you take the time to maintain things regularly then you should not have any problems with your setup. But this is just my view. Shaun

Exhaust Temperature
Reddog170 replied to tsigwing's topic in Royal Star and Royal Star Tour Deluxe Tech Talk
I do not know about the temps but it sounds like you need to run some sea-foam through it. The other thing that may be an issue, but I am not certain, may be the muffler packing and or air filter. Shaun -
Do not know if that would work, he might forget it when he washes the scoot then.:rotf:
