I had the 765T on my bike. I think you'll like the unit.

All set and ready to go....................except Father in law admitted to the hospital Monday night. Gall stones affecting a duct?? etc, and surgery is scheduled Thur morning. Because of his plavix use, it's a risky thing they're doing. My wife is in nursing and understands it much better than myself. We had to cancel our room at Edelweiss just this morning. We're bummed naturally, but her father comes first. Be safe and we sure hope to join in on another one soon.

oops! Not a butt buddy. This is what I ordered for her. Butt Buffer Pillion Seat Pad for Motorcycles 11L X 8W http://www.easternperformance.com/products.php?product=Butt-Buffer-Pillion-Seat-Pad-for-Motorcycles-11L-X-8W Probably an overpriced piece o' foam but we'll see the end of June after 4 days at the Eureka Springs meet and greet.

congrats. That's the seat I have on my 06 RSTD. I'll be receiving my "butt buddy" on Monday, demanded by the wife. She is very uncomfortable on the pillion portion. I too was extremely unhappy with the seat for the first 3 or 4 thousand miles I rode on it. Very very firm. The seat was installed on the bike when we bought it from the PO. I didn't get the factory seat so I have nothing to compare the comfort/discomfort to. Now that I guess it's broken in for me, I look forward every time we ride to slipping on down in it. Really starting to love it after 6K miles. Mine came with the corbin rider backrest too. Wouldn't leave home without it.

just fantastic

I've spent 3 days in Joplin this past week restoring communications for the company I work for. Seeing it on television is far from being there. It's an emotional experience. My prayers go to everyone affected from that storm.

Appreciate that. I wear the EXO 900 in XXL. Get a terrible pain after a couple hours across my forehead. Wife wears the EXO fullface 400 in a XS and she gets it too. Got a 3/4 HJC and full face EXO 1000, none of them very comfortable. Hoping to find that comfortable one someday. The modular 900 is by far the better of the rest I have.

Congrats Dave, very good news. Enjoy!

Take some time to stand in front of the Bellagio water fountain show, always free. Turn around and watch the people pass on the sidewalk. There's your show!! Like Bigfoot said, cirque du soleil is very entertaining. We enjoyed the Blue Man Group.

Put a set of Venom's on the RSTD this past fall. Have a few thousand miles on them now and really enjoy them. We're 2 up all the time. I run 40 psi frt and 48 rear with 0 lbs in frt shocks and 30 lbs rear shock. No issues at all.

Picked one up this morning at O'Reilly's for my 06. 89.99 + tax + core charge was $106.34 out the door. I"ll get 8 bucks back when I return my core. Mine too has the DEKA brand under the AGM Super Start label. 15K miles on the bike. Hope this new battery lasts as well as the 5 yr old Yuasa I just yanked out.

Took me a bit to find mine too. I have a nice chrome cover with a single tiny allen screw holding it on covering the bleeder location. -
after market mufflers for 08 RSTD

I have Samson slash cut on my 06 RSTD. I have them because they were on the bike when I bought it used last year. Thankfully the wife and I wear full face helmets with comm headsets or I'd be looking for something alittle more mellow. I do love the sound of those Vance and Hines Monster Ovals! -
Our favorite areas too and we're blessed to be a couple hours from it. We'll be in Eureka soon and definitely the end of June for the Meet and Greet. Glad you had a safe, good time!

Easy off foaming oven cleaner. Wear gloves and eye protection. Spray and put parts in a trash bag. Rinse, rinse, rinse with water afterwards. Very effective

Communication systems

Wife and I bought the Cardo Scala G4 Powerset and never looked back. Love the clarity and features. Installed in a full face helmet, I've accepted phone calls via bluetooth through it and folks think they're talking to me on a land line. The FM radio is nice, though I've only used it in town where signals are strong. I do often use the aux jack though to connect my mp3, stereo sound and all. Cardo's done a stand up job on these units. Very easy to USB into our home puter and the program looks for firmware and software upgrades and automatically installs them in your headsets. I would only recommend this system for full or 3/4 helmets due to the mounting systems. I would not go this route wearing half helmets. And Stuart has an excellent point. Even though the Cardo G4 will allow comm with several other riders, they must too have a cardo unit. -
Service Manual for 2005 RSTD

http://store03.prostores.com/servlet/manualwizard/the-442/Yamaha-Royal-Star-Venture/Detail $25 for the RSV/RSTD manual. I purchased this last year from this seller. Like BF said above, it's very well done, and very helpful. -
Wally, Does the inner cotton liner stay in place when you take them off? I guess I've not owned really quality lined leather gloves because I have several pairs from differents mfg'ers, all stating they're "motorcycle" gloves, and it's a challenge to remove them without the liner sticking to my fingers. Or maybe I need to know the trick to getting the liners back in place like when the glove is new, lol. After I wear a lined leather glove a few times, I feel like OJ Simpson in front of Judge Ito.

Been tough here in Oklahoma too. Current temp is -11. That's the temp, not the wind chill. We've been bombarded with over 20 inches of total snow on the ground. Less than a week from today, the forecasted high is 70 deg. Crazy
-
We were blessed with 70 deg weather yesterday and today. Wife and looped a 3 state border ride of 350 miles and then took off today and rode another 250 miles. Front approaching this week and we're looking at lows of 5 deg thur.

Good luck with this Dave. My 06 TD warranty also expires this year. Keep us posted how they take care of you. Looks to me like whatever route the dealer takes, the warranty should get Roxie repaired and back on the road.

Very nice. Those pipes look HUGE!

I see the problem scrolling down those names. 2 "Suzuki's"...and no "Yamaha's"
