While in Eureka Springs we visted this company's location and they are the nicest, most helpful company I have ever had the pleasure to deal with. They went way be on the call of duty by assisting me and HeatonMT with some custom installations of accessories we purchased and would not accept any payment for their additional service. Note: Sean at CycleGadgets is going to hopefully soon be stocking a CB Microphone Only for the Venture after He worked with Mike on modifying a headset to work as a CB Mic only on his 2007. If you have time go to their site and look around. Better yet, when in Eureka Springs, stop in an visit. You won't be disappointed. Jay

Sorry for the wait my net. at home stinks! took me a whole day just to get these photos up loaded! Here are some photos of the rides and meet photos are from Eureka Springs to War Eagle mill down to Ozark and around Jasper area the next day. We had a blast seeing everyone and enjoyed the cook out as well Will do next year? all depends if anyone wants to have it again next year? Buddy

the meet in eureka springs is just 2 weeks off. buddy is putting it on this year and it will be a good one. check it out under meet and eats for the agenda and motel accomodations. this will be a great meet as usual with lots of awesome sightseeing and things to do. this is one of the largest tourist areas in the usa, not to far from branson if you want to ride up there. it will be a fun pact weekend. if your not on the calender please do so so buddy can get a head count. we always have a great turn out. it's kind of a venturerider standard not to miss. see you there.

Wanted to up date it here in the watering hole to give the family the heads up that its just 32 days away Aug31 - Sept.3 2012 If we have new family members or just old ones wanting to come and need info? everything you need is posted in the Calendar on AUG 31 2012 and in the meet-n-eats area under Snarley Bills Eureka Springs meet So as of right now Edelweiss Inn still has a few rooms left but for how long is any ones guess? being Labor day weekend Peg & I are looking forward to this meet since its the first one we ever went to as a venturerider and loved it ever since! Going up to Eureka Springs Thursday -Sunday (24th -27th) on a bike I just rebuilt. (it is multi-colored) I will be crossing at Greenville Ms.. What i am wondering is if there is anyone along the way that would be willing to help should i run into problems....the bike is fine right now but it hasn't been run in 4-5 years.. Anyway, that is my question. The trip is is my Churches Youth Group retreat. I will be busy with them and wont have time for "Meet-n-Greets" Sorry. but I do come into Arkansas occasionally so maybe next time.

darn, the eureka springs meet is getting close. one week away. if your coming and not on the calender ,please sign in on the days you will attend. there are plenty of motels in the area, if the edelwiess is full. see you there and everyone ride safe. you will need a helmet cuz we may ride into missouri. bill

A few pictures from Eureka Springs. Went on a short ride today and got caught in the rain. Fortunately it didn't last long. Then there were the two KIDS who had to play with scooters. Thanks all who arranged this meet. Having a great time. Will post more pics later.

I noticed where some could not get in the Edlewise Inn for the Eureka Springs M&E next week. I have had to cancel my reservations so I thought I'd let anyone know that might be interested in a room there. Maybe next year for me. Enjoy.

Within 1 mile of our house is a grocery and carry out adult beverage store. We will supply Lemonade Tea Water . If you want to stay Friday night and/or Saturday night here is what we can offer. We have 4 bedrooms and lots of floor. Backyard for tenting and 6 Motels within 8 miles. We will have some prizes for farthest away, closest, Prettiest bike by vote and some other contests. I will also lead a 50 miles ride leaving 1:00 pm. For those here at lunch time maybe we take up a collection for Pizza, We will cook our evening meal at 6:00 PM. I know this is a short notice, Sorry. Being the only Mechanic for the city, has put me on a very short rope so this is the reason for the delay......Sorry Aug. 27-28 2010 was hoping for more days but does not look like it will happen.... Any way We will be running up to Eureka Springs Fri. morning get there around 1-2PM. settle in then go out get some good food come back and chat drink some good beer & soda pop relax and have fun, If it is possible Saturday? Peg would like to see the Glass Church in Eureka Springs and ride around the Country side for the day then back to the Inn for a relaxing evening before heading home Sunday morning. Stuck in Eureka, California (Sunday, July 25th) No, not me (fortunately), but my brother in-law. Lynn and his wife Cindy left Blackfoot, Idaho last Friday for a ride up the PCH and up to Forks, Washington. They got as far as Eureka today and got a flat tire on their '09 Venture. They have a place to stay this evening, but they will be in the market for a new back tire first thing in the morning. I'm not sure what kind of service he's going to be able to find in Eureka tomorrow morning, or if they will even be able to find a back tire very quickly. Anyone have any tips or suggestions I can pass-on to them to assist? Like many of us have, we too have been stuck on a road trip, and it's sure nice to know when people are available to lend a hand. Would there be any interest in getting together in Eureka Springs late Summer or Early Fall. Stay at the Eidelweiss, do some riding, drink some beverages and tell lies? I'm thinking of heading down that way around then and just wondering if anyone else up for riding and lying

After a lot of thought and consideration I have traded the Venture for a new Yamaha Rhino. Loved the Venture but the wife has kind of lost interest in riding this year. We only took 1 short trip to Eureka Springs, I think it has something to do with the grandkids. If I can I will get another bike to ride to work next spring but it won't be a touring bike, I'm getting old would like something alittle lighter. Anyway I wanted to say there are a bunch of nice folks and a lot of valuable information on this web site. I have learned a bunch from you'all and enjoyed meeting some of you at the Eureka Springs Rallys. Now if I can just find such a good web site for the Rhino I will be happy. So long and ride safe! well we cancelled our reservations for eureka springs completely...so if anyone was still looking for a room at edelweiss our dbl queen room is now available. very disapointed we had to do this but.......but something happened today ( a big slap while we're already down) which i will fill ya in on later that made up our minds not to go. this is getting to be a like Peyton Place here in our home and im ready for the movie to end.

was out for my sunday morning coffee run and stopped at a riverside park in herman, mo.. this fellow walks up to me and wants to take my picture. we got to talking and he is from eureka springs and a professional photographer. anyway he has an awesome website called http://www.cruisetheozarks.com , check it out. i invited him to visit our site and he is going to come to my eureka springs meet in two weeks. and visit with us. he rides all over on a honda pacific coast. really nice guy. do check out the site. if you want the riding scoop on arkansas. very professional. :clap2::2133:bill

the eureka springs meet will be here in 2 1/2 weeks. where has the summer gone? really getting excited about it. sounds like we are going to have a good crowd, with lots of great rides, eating and followed by a wind down party on the edelweiss deck overlooking the woods every night. once again just want to remind you'all bring your helmets and something for the drawing if you want. we are also going to have a 50/50 drawing for st. jude, and the proceeds are going to squidly's st. jude tattoo fund. really looking forward to seeing you all again this year and the first timers too. see you all there. i am bringing my truck and trailer, so we will have an emergency hauler if we need it. before you jump on me about trailering down there. i may ride and have linda follow me. we need the truck to haul her suitcases. :rotf: bill

The Eureka Springs rally is Sept 10th -13th. The wife and I are planning on leaving on Monday the 10th and riding into Missouri and spend the night and then go to someplace in Arkansas for Tuesday night then to Eureka Spring on Wednesday the 13th. We don't really have any set plans just riding the backroads and enjoying the ride. Anyone from Oklahoma interested in going along? Ride Safe!

don't forget the eureka springs meet is coming up sept 10th through 13th. the weather is usually perfect that time of the year and it will be a great meet. the eidelweis may still have a couple of rooms left, there are motels ajaceint to the edelweiss if it is full. we will ride by the hub. bill

having a problem coming up with t-shirts for eureka springs. can't seem to get a comunication going with shirtz&things after a little phone tag i have emailed them. here is the problem. as recommended by allanh. i want to set it up where each member that wants them ,can order there size directly off their web site. this way i don't have to mess with shipping and i don't want to collect peoples money to pay for them. i am not wanting to have any kind of registration fee for this meet. i tried our only local t-shirt and graffics dealer but they have no website. if i can't get something going with shirtzn things this week i am going to give up on the t-shirt idea. i haven't got a design yet and to be honest i don't have a clue what i am doing when it comes to designing t-shirts. my sister is a profesional artist but has had some health problems so i don't want to burden her. if someone else wants to tackle the t-shirts and patches that knows what they are doing, have at it. i am in the process of getting a bunch of door prizes together for the guys and gals for the drawing. other than the t-shirt problem everything is coming together for a great meet and looks like we will have a good turnout. hope we have the weather we had last year. see you all there. bill

just got a great idea for the eureka springs meet. we are going to have a day for the ladies. starting with a place of their choice to eat breakfast, followed by a day of shopping in old town eureka springs, then followed by their choice of a place to eat dinner. all the men will have to go shopping and come up with a gift for a lady and names will be drawn back at the motel during the night party on the deck. by the way i am having a hard time coming up with a t-shirt design that will be acceptable to everybody this will be for shirts and patches. give me some input. no specific model bike pictures. i already got the tough logo. venturerider eureka springs 2008 rally. give me a picture. we are going to have a drawing for the guys too. so guys bring a little something for that. i already have a few neat things i am bringing. i want this to be a great rally so any ideas will be appreciated. bill
