This will be our 4th annual Maintenance Day here at our place, The date is June 27th and anybody that wants to come and camp is wellcome there are motels 6 miles away in Viroqua if you are not into camping. We start it out on Thursday and go till Sunday, I will have rides planed out for Friday and Saturday cant have a bunch of cycle riders here and not take them out and show them the great riding roads we have around here. Its been a great time each each year and look forward to many more. I will be getting it on the calendar so you can go on there and RSVP and I will put the list motels on there also. It will be good to see our old friends and get to make some new ones. Orlin and Sharon

Thank you Eck Last Monday a friend and I arrived in Welch WV at about 6:30 PM, with no motel reservations. My friend had miss placed the motel info and the motels were hid from site. We stopped at a couple gas stations, but didn’t get good direction. I remembered reading Eck’s post on his upcoming trip to Welch. I managed to get a call through to him, which was a miracle with no bars and a low battery charge. Eck gave me the numbers to several motels in the area. We were less than ½ mile from one and it was a nice place. Thanks Eck for the help!!!!!! Earl:clap2:

Is there anyone thinking of doing one? If not I would like to host one June 30th here at our place near Viroqua Wi, I have alot of room for working on bikes we also have a camping area next to the creek for those that would like to come and campout there are motels 6 miles away along with other places to stay. I would like to do a Friday ride work on bikes Satarday and that night have a cookout and bonfire. Thanks Orlin

A few of us are planning a trip to the Badlands, Rushmore and some Wyoming riding (or anything else around there). But we are wondering about the timing of our trip. We plan on leaving July 22-31 and the Sturgis Rally is going to be from August 8-14. Will we have any difficulty getting rooms from July 24, 25 and 26? Opinions? Also...we had planned to stay in Rapid City, SD and use that as a "staging" place for all of our day trips. But after looking at the map, I am thinking that Custer, SD would be a better staging place...they have motels and it makes the southern part (badlands, Wyoming, rushmore) more accessible since our only trip north will be a quick (very quick) trip through Sturgis. Are there any other OFF THE WALL things to see in the area that most people don't know about? How about any recommendations on Motels in the Custer, SD area?

Tail of the Dragon @ Vogel V Aug. 17-21, 2011 Vogel State Park Blairsville, Ga. Registration will begin at 12:00 PM Wed. Aug. 17, 2011, in front of the convenience store/office. You can register there or register early by mail. I will be posting the official registration form in a few weeks. There are cabins, camp sites, rv sites at the park. There are also several motels in nearby Blairsville. I will be contacting them and try to set up a block of rooms at a reduced rate. I know many have stayed at the Best Western in Blairsville. Going to post this up in the watering hole as a way to hopefully bring a little more attention to it. Warrior is hosting a M&E on march 19th in Columbus NC. Planning to be there if I can . Going to meet at larkins carolina grill.MAybey a ride aft. I also seem top remember that Mark knows a manager at one of the local motels so may be a good l plac eto stay also. okay, here are the dates for my st. charles meet, eat, and ride. i have decided to make it 2 days next year,so people that come along way have plenty of time to settle in and enjoy it. the dates are, may 8th, and 9th 2009. thats friday and saturday. we will have a great ride of about 200 miles each day and a final barbeque at my house saturday evening. i will have more details, and motels listed soon. those that have been here can make reservations at the same motels. you ain't going to believe this meet. i am going to give it my all as usual, so put it on your calender. bill :clap2:

Hey guys, I'm finally getting off the north slope of Alaska and am going to do my best to make Eureka Springs. Any motels other than the Eidelwiess (bad spelling) as I know it's full now. Thanks:snow: Jerry

don't forget the eureka springs meet is coming up sept 10th through 13th. the weather is usually perfect that time of the year and it will be a great meet. the eidelweis may still have a couple of rooms left, there are motels ajaceint to the edelweiss if it is full. we will ride by the hub. bill

for all those who don't know, we have the 2009 arkansas rally info listed under rides and rallies now. here's a quick up date. all the rooms at the hub are full. there is a list of motels and camping areas that buddy has compiled under the rides and rallies forums.the overflow motels are in harrison arkansas about 8 miles from the hub. we will be posting up dates on a regular basis as we have new info. bill
