I know, I'm not the first one, or be the last to gripe about cagers that just got to squeeze you out of your lane or just get too danged close while trying to pass on the road. It's disturbing and it's all too often. But wait! There is a product out there that will help deter those who like to run snug against you. well got the heated vest that is awesome, but now deciding whether liner is more practical or heated glove. Cost are apples to apples! So let me know what you like and why, inquiring minds want to know!

No, not thinking of putting a car tire on a 1st Gen. Instead, thinking about replacing the four carb mess with a single carburetor and manifold similar to what is done on the Goldwings. Has anyone tried this? Were you successful? Inquiring minds want to know. -

i was in peoria illinois today to do a little gambling. saw 2 bikes in the lot. and went to take a look. 2 nice men where comming out to get on them. both are heading home. to AZ one was driving a 86 other a 88. 86 was a nice gold. 88 looks like a repaint? blue and silver. the 86 owner was named dan. and the other john. i didnt catch the last name right. sounded like mahder? brothers. if this was you. i want to say thanks. for letting me pick your minds a little. about gas milage. handling. and how far they where comming from. these where great guys. who where a little cold. but then hooked up what looked like heated gear. and off they went. not before dan did a tire burn out. didnt think these ventures could do that? i told them about this site. so maybe i got 2 new members to hook up.

I have contemplated changing my user name, but the one I am interested in is taken by someone else. But, given the changes in our member status now, I doubt if he is even a supporting member. He joined in August 06. His last activity was back in April 09 and during this whole time, he has a total of 3 posts and I can not get any of them to come up. Should I try to send him a PM, as he has no other contact data available, or just consider him as history? Enquiring minds want to know, and I am probably not the only one with this thought. RandyA

Rode today from AR across MS to AL. Arkansas and Alabama gas prices seem very similar, just under $4. Prices in Mississippi were astounding! $3.53 a gallon in lots of places around Tupelo. How can they do that? What can't neighboring states? Yes, I know taxes are cheaper but not THAT much. Enquiring minds want to know. Lynn

well we cancelled our reservations for eureka springs completely...so if anyone was still looking for a room at edelweiss our dbl queen room is now available. very disapointed we had to do this but.......but something happened today ( a big slap while we're already down) which i will fill ya in on later that made up our minds not to go. this is getting to be a like Peyton Place here in our home and im ready for the movie to end.
