I hope I'll get another 20 outta this bike. Unless the rear shock goes again. I might think about getting a different bike then. I really don't like the idea of having to pay so much for a part with a bad design. I mean, look at the 1stgens. They don't lose their shock every couple of years. If it goes, so will the bike, if I can find something as comfortable.

No Brain idiots wandering my neighborhood.
BuddyRich replied to Snaggletooth's topic in Watering Hole
They were dumber than most for sure. Doing apt maintenance in my younger days. When tenants tried to lock us out cause they were evicted we used a pipe wrench on the locks. Used right it only takes a couple of minutes to get into the average quikset or schlage lockset. Even the deadbolt. Cheaper than replacing a door/door jamb or window. Cordless drills are pretty fast on the basic lock also. Drill and tap out the tumblers and your in. -
Uhh, What's ICE ? :rotf:

I was there, but now I'm here, I'll be going back there tomorrow from here.....Then I come back here after I get done there. Then from there back to here only to return there again. Then I have to go over there, back to here and return there...Now Where was I?

I put mine on a switch. I was having a problem with my HID not remaining lit after starting so I just turn it on after the bike is running now. Works good.

Considering relocation to Victoria Texas. info?
BuddyRich replied to OutKast's topic in Watering Hole
We kinda hide inside in the afternoon in the summer here. It is 4 months of relentless heat. But with lakes, swimming pools, and the ocean its tolerable. The rest of the year is really good. I don't put my bike up on a jack anymore in the winter since we can still ride down here. I was out riding in a t-shirt today. -
Just send a paypal to be directly by logging into paypal and then "send money" to buddyrich@ebmc.com. In the notes just put that you want Red. Thanks

We have a couple of offices connected using voip. As long as you have a decent ISP you should be fine.

Been there. Dan your probably low on coolant. You can somewhat control temp in the winter by blocking some of the airflow over the rad. You see truckers all the time with the adjustable rad covers. BETTER check that level though. the only time I got those hot/cold flashes was when the vehicle was WAY LOW on coolant.

Just let me know if you want black or smoke. Red, blue or white are available also but $5 more because of the cost of the colored material. Thanks...

Hit a hawk-shattered lower fairing
BuddyRich replied to Sandbagger's topic in Royal Star Venture Tech Talk ('99 - '13)
I don't see any way to protect the lower fairing without putting something over it. And it would have to be formed and hard enough to protect it ,but then depending on what hits it it may bust the mounts. Think your just stuck replacing them. -
Yep, wire routing is very important on moving objects. Can't be too tight nor too loose. And they really need to follow the correct path.
