  1. I think it was from here. Price is half what I paid now http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/H4-9003-9004-9007-H13-Hi-Lo-Bi-Xenon-HID-Conversion-Kit_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQcategoryZ36476QQihZ011QQitemZ320238242455QQrdZ1QQsspagenameZWDVW
  2. There's only a couple of Bi-Xenon HID's over here that use the proper bulb for hi/lo. I found several that use a sliding shield but that really doesn't work right. For the hi beam to focus correctly the filament must change position by about a 1/4 inch. I really love my HID that does this and I won't go back to regular bulbs. It was a fairly cheap set in that it was 149 for a pair of H4's. It doesn't always light correctly because when starting it, the engine can drag down the voltage till it goes out so I just put an on/off switch to the ballast power and cycle it after it starts.
  3. You want to go into the User CP "control panel" it on the left side. Edit your signature. then click on the icon that looks like . Insert the line from the weather site. Your would use the following line http://banners.wunderground.com/weathersticker/miniWeather02/language/www/US/FL/Pensacola.gif http://banners.wunderground.com/weathersticker/miniWeather02/language/www/US/FL/Pensacola.gif
  4. I have not had the engine braces loosen up. The rear fender bolts is something you want to watch though
  5. Yep, Tires, run your hands over the rear tire and you'll probably feel cupping on its edges
  6. I have the Star lower wind deflectors and like them. My plastic seems to be cracking but that maybe from grabbing them by the tip and turning them out or in and them being a little to tight

  12. Go into your help and search for System Restore. It should lead you thru it with the wizard. Try doing a system restore to a couple of days before your mistake.

  14. :rotf: Well, At least you didn't turn onto the train tracks and get stuck and then watch a train demolish your rental car like that moron in CA... It musta thought you were on the road over the tunnel ..
  15. I have gotten 16k outta of a rear Avon on my 05
  16. The links are coming thru as an mhtml. Many browsers still only understand html for a link. So they probably won't open. The difference being that one is Modular Hyper Text Markup Language and the other (original) is Hyper Text Markup Language. The MHTML has other elements embedded in it. This link will run without the midi and the bottom one is the slide show . http://s243.photobucket.com/albums/ff242/stratocurtster/Rebel%20XTI/Thunderbash%2008/?start=all http://s243.photobucket.com/albums/ff242/stratocurtster/Rebel%20XTI/Thunderbash%2008/?albumview=slideshow
  17. Don't know a lot about welding. But it does look like that's a stress point from the rear seat and trunk. The rear fender frame mounts (#12) to the upper section of that and then bolts to the lower part of the frame. That would act like a pivot for a lot of weight on the rear seat and trunk. We may all want to check that area from time to time just in case its a bad design. If its a bad weld then maybe its an isolated problem with just that bike. http://parts.yamaha-motor.com/partimage.gifx?d=96906,4,0
  18. They will fit right on the RSV. You'll need a bracket for the back half of the muffler to mount where the old RSV muffler mounted. I think Squidley makes them.
  19. I do mine about every 3 months. Its a tool that's worth every penny you spent.
  20. Lost one of those screw also. Use loctite on them. Also check your rear fender on both sides and the grab bars area. Lost several of those.
  21. This is straight from the CHP page Can motorcycle riders "split" lanes and ride between other vehicles? Lane splitting by motorcycles is permissible but must be done in a safe and prudent manner.
  22. I don't think Active Military are required to register their vehicles in CA. http://www.dmv.ca.gov/forms/reg/reg5045.pdf
  23. Maybe its time for a second gen Saab.... :duck: :rotf:
  24. Did you have a new number put in or Put DSL on an existing number ?If its an existing number then you maybe able to get away with putting a splitter at the junction box. Put the dsl filter for the POTS (plain ole telephone service) going into the rest of the house and the unfiltered side to your new line. You really don't need cat5 or cat5e as they are rated at 100mbps and your dsl will probably not exceed 10mbps so standard ole cat3 will work. I would be more concerned with weathering if your runnining it outside. I did do a single line in and went wireless/router/ap/dslmodem from there. Holler if you have problems Your upload maybe worse than your old radio connection. My radio runs around 500k to 600k up. The dsl is probably gonna top out at 384k. If its a new number then the easiest way maybe a single run straight to your DSL modem without using any of the existing wiring
