My brother is planning a trip to Guadalahara Mexico on his motorcycle. I've heard horror stories of motorcyclists getting their bikes stolen or taken away, mugged and any number of other consequences from riding across the border. I just wanted to get some feedback from some of you guys with firsthand knowledge or a safe way to travel in Mexico on a motorcycle in particular.

Anyone Familiar with this bike. A friend of mine is looking at one with the intention of maybe buying it, so he asked me about. but other than having seen the odd one I know next to nothing about it. If anyone can give me some pro's and con's about it that would be great. I think they are asking about $4,000 canadian and I believe it has about 40,000 KM on it. The bike is apparantly in mint shape with lots of extras.

Planning a Spring trip from Florida and going to spend a few nights somewhere as a base to ride the local roads. Need a hotel and restaurants. Considering Hiawassee, GA or Murphy, NC. I've never been to either so I would appreciate any pros and cons from someone who has. Thanks.

We'd be looking at buying a USED Class A Diesel MH. I would like to be able to take the GS and both my 2 wheeler, Jeannie's trike when we head out for warmer climates in the winter. Possible full time RV living in the future. I'm looking for firsthand experience's, feedback on the pros and cons of traveling with such a load. The following info would be helpful. Trailer type. Long enclosed or shorter stacker style. (Pros & Cons) Horsepower needed to pull grades at a safe speed with a 15K pound trailer in tow. Tag axles? Slides or not ? -

I'm looking for ideas for mounting speakers on the trunk top or sides or ????? I don't really want to reduce storage space. Could you all post pics of the set up you have....along with any pro or cons of that set up. -
This has been an issue for me since I purchased the bike in feb of 2011. the seat is just unbearable. I was planning on sending it to Butler to have it modded but the owner before me made some mods to the seat pan. Time has come( Tax return and bonus season) to set my sights on an aftermarket seat that will be comfortable for my wife and I. We dont do extensive trips but we dont want to hurts after 100 miles. I would like to ride 400 and not think twice about riding again the following day. Id liek some pros and cons from those that have Mustang, Corbin, Ultimate and although russel day long doesnt have one currently for the 96 rstc Id still like some feedback as it is now I am turning away from corbin because I have sat on a few and the seat I found very hard, although no soreness. i still would like someting a lil plush. -

I am about to purchase some Dunlop Elite IIIs. This tire comes in a radial I've heard. Is this okay to mount on the 2nd Gen. Venture? What are the pros and cons? Thanks.

Got me a new ride ....for a moment and only cost me a few Peanuts. Rode it long enough to give a comparison to the RSV: Pros: Plenty of Ground Clearance. No need for leveling links. Cagers Beware! Ear Cooled Big Horn! Make my own path. No need for Ride on. Can see the road CLEARLY Handles the road with ease Better Cell phone reception and I can Text and Drive at the same time! Any LEO will have to look up ....at me now! No problem in carrying CASES of BEER Will not take any Crap now as I can give it ! I can ride either 1, 2, 3, 4up! No Helmet required in any state. No one tailgates. Just too many more Pros to mention................................... Now for the Cons: No Dealer will touch it for repairs, but I could persuade them easily for something else! Not enough trunk space. Keep forgetting my ladder. Afraid of mice. Hard to wash without getting wet myself. Can't trike it! Where to mount the license or LED's? Talk about Bugs Exhaust takes getting used too. Brakes work when THEY want too. Again, too many Cons to mention either! Overall,I think I'll keep my RSV!:banana::banana: Here's the 5 minutes of Fame! Hey folks, I'm brand new to this site, as a matter of fact, this is my first thread. So, here's the first question I have. I am looking at purchasing a new Ultimate Seat for my 2007 RSTD, does anybody out there have this seat on their RSTD. Pros, and cons? Also, I am tossing around the idea of purchasing a center stand for my bike. Is Rivco the only manufacturer of one that fits the RSTD, or are there other less expensive alternatives? Pros, and cons please.

Has anyone ever tried wearing a down filled jacket under their riding jacket? I might try it if it ever gets cold enought here. Pros and cons. My jacket is a little large, I like it like that. tew47
