  1. Not sure how it works down there Cindy, but up here, they don't do DNA unless it looks like the case will go to trial. DNA testing is very expensive and if it looks like there will be a plea in the case, it doesn't need to be done. Hopefully, it won't be needed and this POS will go away for a long time. Patience.....this kind of stuff takes time. Any questions, feel free to call.
  2. I guess I'll be sending mine in as soon as I get a chance.
  3. Congrats and Good Luck with the new ride Lou. It's a beauty.
  4. Sorry Dan, I know how you feel. I don't even want to think what I'll do when it's time for my Bulldog Elvis to go. Hopefully we have a long time together. Maybe that's why I have my parrots. They should outlive me.....and I won't have to deal with it.
  5. Gary, I saw this yesterday but didn't have time to post. Hard to believe it's been a year already. Sam and I feel so blessed to have met her at Don's, albeit for such a short time. We know that she lives through you and your kids, and we think of you often. We miss her and wish we lived closer so we could visit you more, but anytime you want to park the shuttle in our driveway, feel free. We are only a phone call away. Vin
  6. Kellys Blue Book has it for 4375 stock with 30000 miles on it. If I was in themarket, Id seriously consider this.
  7. I'm really hating that I couldn't make the trip. I WILL make one sooner or later.
  8. Good for you!! Glad to see they finally came to their senses.
  9. I still want to see and hear it in person. The CB thing hurts, but if you don't want to tie up a saddle bag, I had a handheld Cobra mounted on the handlebars of my old Voyager that I got from JP Cycles. It camewith a set up that hooked onto your headsets, PTT switch and mount. It worked pretty well, range was OK, but if you only use it when you're riding in a group, it's all you need.
  10. Glad to see ya back boss. Hopefully the new area won't be too much of a strain on you. Hug Eileen for us
  11. Good for you Bubber!! Hope it works out and is good as you make it sound..

  19. If Goose says it, I trust him. I put standard plugs in when I replaced mine at about 10,000 (no problem with them, I had the tank off and figured I might as well.) Decided against K&Ns.....bike runs fone for me with the stockers. Squidley drilled my RK pipes at Maintenance Day and it caused no problems except for a little popping on decel, but I think it will clear up with a carb synch. I've run 87 gas since new, 2 up, 1 up, 2 up with trailer and never had a problem with starting, power or run-on. So now that you've got all these opinions, good luck hehehe
  20. Working tonight, around the house stuff tomorrow. Sunday, taking a ride up to Bear Mt via some nice upstate twisties for the day with some riding buds (I hope). Might be the last time out ofr th eseason, but I hope not.
  21. I don't know exactly why I joined this group, mostly to learn more about my 05. In time I grew to find that I was drawn to this group like no other. I have made some great friends (that I definitely don't see often enough). When I'm down, I look on here and usually find something to take my mind off of whatever is bothering me and THAT is priceless. If is truly a selfless group....none of them ask for anything for themselves, with the exception of an occasional prayer or two. They extend their homes, knowledge, companionship, but most of all friendship and ask nothing in return. My ONLY regret about belonging to this group is that I live so far away from everything that it is difficult to make as many meets or rallies as we would like. Why do I love this group? I don't know, I just do.
