Rome wasn't built in a day, but we are running short on time. We have had a few more donations, but nothing huge has accumulated. There is 20 more days to go before this is over with as far as the donating. This would mean we need to get $70 a day to meet the goal Bobbie has stated that for her to go through with this, we need to raise $3K. She did not and wouldn't do this on her own, she never wanted a tattoo. So we need to meet this mark if you want to see her get a tat. I will regardless, the donations wont be sent in vain...But I need your help with this. Sorry to keep being a Pain in the arse, but the children are dying everyday, and I dont like to see that. Please just $5 will greatly help. I am going to keep this on the new posts everyday, these kids deserve a chance to live life

Vinny, You have a GEM there with that woman, she can make a room brighter, you are a lucky man. I know you had mentioned earlier about Sam in a previous post and I didn't want to pry. Thank you for trusting us with this and we will be talking to the maker, and thanking him for it being something mundane. God Bless you bro, Lonna and I talk about you and Sam all the time, we are looking forward to seeing you 2 again. Give our best a big hug to that woman

I'm not going to get on a soapbox here, but you might want to contact a lawyer and discuss what has gone on here and file charges. As always we are here for you and WE WILL help you folks through this. -
Saddlebag Quick Removal Bolt Set
Squidley replied to Highway Star's topic in Royal Star Venture Tech Talk ('99 - '13)
I have made sets of the bag releases before, all depends on how you want to go. I have a set that I recieved off one of our members here that sells on ebay. It is Hilliss and here is an auction that has past already, but he makes them for the RSV and I like the quality of his work. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&viewitem=&item=330267962628 Once you start adding your time and running around and getting all the items together, it's just as easy to purchase a set off him and just pop them in -
I can see this turning into a "Where's Waldo" type thing

I have never seen them before, although there is a great cool factor with them, way too pricey for my blood

I have too seen what a tire can do, they are wicked to say the least. I too pass all out when I get past a truck, I never want to be beside them any longer than I have to. Glad to hear that you were unhurt, I have seen what a recap can do....and it is grusome.

My superior powers deduction were at work when I deduced that

I'm younger than you and I have 2 of them besides....you'd be a good Grandpa

Avon tire questions
Squidley replied to Dieseldawg's topic in Royal Star Venture Tech Talk ('99 - '13)
Unless your absolutly faithful in ALWAYS checking your tires before you head out 2 up fully loaded, run the rear at max pressure (which on the ones that I have had is 50psi). The front one I run 5 lbs or so lighter than what is recommended, I tune the suspension, not the tire. -
Will newer Vmax coils work on it

Congrats my friend....now the next thing is, dare I say it, grandpa All the best!

I think a new paint job will be HOT!!!

No not yet, but if there is a need for one BTW Tweetie Bird, what kind of bike is that, I have seriously been looking for a bike like that with the disc brakes and higher handlebars
-
Well at an '08 in black/silver...it's not a Venture
-
Hook the straps to the trees, more solid. When I trailer a bike I use 6, yeah 6 ratcheting tiedowns. 2 in the front forks, 2 holding the back of the bike and 2 at the center. I had a bike fall 1 time....never again

WOW!! I'm impressed, and no

Over 6000 miles on it right now Don....and I bought it on July 5th of this year

You shouldn't need to run the Seafoam in the crankcase, not enough miles on it to really start sludging up the engine. Yamalube is good oil, if you want to use it again, do so. You can change to any oil you want to as long as you dont use the energy conserving like mentioned in the previous thread. I have used Shell Rotella T in the majority of my bikes without any issues. Right now I am using Mobil 1 Synthetic for motorcycles and I'm happy with it.

They are different, the calipers are different (not sure if they are mounted in the same holes) and the antidive system is different. As far as the lines I couldn't tell you, but I know some of the 1st genners will chime in and fill in the blanks

Glad to see that you are enjoying the site, if you can make one of the local meet and eats in your area I would strongly suggest that you do. The folks on this site make it what it is, stop in often
