I haven't had any problem with ice build-up and frozen gutters since I left Nebraska.

Front spring questions
Sylvester replied to 1BigDog's topic in Royal Star Venture Tech Talk ('99 - '13)
I installed the Gold Emulators six years ago. They do not replace the air bags so it still works. I love the emulators but I kept the stock springs. It is important to change the fork oil on time or the front will get spongy. -
I noticed this morning it was barely moving slow so I went to some other sites and they were slow also. I don't think it is my computer so it may be that there are periods that the internet gets overloaded.

I found that it fits low on my head and the padding (without the neck curtain) irritates my ears. I took a knife and cut some of it but it still is a bother. I didn't notice it when I first started using the helmet but after some time on the saddle it became apparent. I do like to wear it if I am going through tunnels. It makes the switching of glasses a none event.

I will let more knowledgeable member reply, but I think it is for the Bushtec trailers.

I ride as much as I can. Tough winter even here in NC. Was out yesterday and today but I don't ride for work...just for the fun of it. I hope to ride in early April to Tucson, AZ with some friends. A new winter storm is supposed to hit us next Monday. I just paid my propane bill today ($935.00) and told them that I am already down 150 gallons in 30 days. They told me I was lucky, some people need 300+ gallons in the same time. OK I am done complaining!

The easiest way is to go to paypal.com and send it to his paypal address.. CFAS4U@Charter.net I only use paypal a few times a year and mostly for VR.

I just take an AC charger with me on long touring rides like across the country and charge at night at the motel. Never runs out of charge on the road.

Id say the 1100 classic would be a good start or even bigger; i had a 1100 classic and i never had one complant it was a fine bike and I spent some time thinking about trading it to get my wing and if i could id still have one for bummin around by my self although if you went with the vulcan 950 and change the gearing a tad it would be a good ride I know some one who changed the front and rear gears WOW what a differants'; but still not the power of the 1100 I rode from Charlotte, NC to St. Joseph, MO and back with a friend and his wife. She was on a 650 V-Star and ran as fast as we wanted to ride (70 mph +). So I don't believe that bigger is better. Ride what fits you.

I never saw the post either. I have passed on a donation.

Unless my 02 gets wrecked, there won't be another. I don't fit the GL, the BMW is not my style, had a Harley tour bike (didn't care for it) and the Indians are too pricey (although I love them). I probably will trike or hack in the future if they can get the reverse thing down.

I am glad to hear of the success. God loves bikers...and everyone else.

ipod nano 8gb. I have three of them Gen 1, Gen 2, Gen 5 and they are all programmed the same. Keep one in my truck and one on my RSMV, the oldest I keep in a Bose sound station for use at home. Love the sound!

But if the court decides a larger amout of money that the insurance covers, then the excess is passed on to all parties that the lawyers can find.

And winter has two plus months to go! I feel sorry for you golfers.

The big issue is liability. If in the event of an accident, the passeger's lawyer will go after everyone connected with the incident. This includes you, your son and any other vehicles involved including all the insureds on the list. I carry a 1,000,000 dollar liability rider on all my policies.

Now don't be putting thoughts in his head. Could be that she is stringing him on in hopes of getting to ride his RSV solo!

You won't need the pants liner and you will not use the jacket liner all that much. You will use the gloves alot of the time. At least that is what I have noticed over the years. I only turn the jacket on for short durations since I get too hot.

I won't be riding until the rain comes next Monday/Tuesday. They have sooo much salt and ice down from our last storm that it is dangerous. 40 deg. today and getting warmer through next Wednesday, that ought to take care of any ice and snow left.

Richard, Even though these listed problems have been reported and the shock is the most listed, I have 135,000+miles on my 02 and have not had any problems, whine, wobble or breakdowns. I have replaced the clutch once and rebuilt the front forks twice and my CB quit working this past summer.
