I'm lucky to work in a fairly well paying job, and whenever I can I pay a bit forward. The other night on my way home from a friends, I stopped at a Timmy's. picked up about $40 of snacks and coffee to go and dropped it off on a picket line where workers have been off the job for about 2 months. Despite the rain and cold, it's amazing how simple it is to bring a smile to someones face...

For listening to tunes on the scoot, any one of several MP3 players will do the job. Just make sure the one you buy has the controls on the player, not on the cord like the iPod Shuffle. Even a small 4GB unit will hold close to 1000 songs, just make sure you can keep it dry when you ride... A 6 foot long cord will give your passenger the controls to run the music leaving your hands and concentration to do the riding...

The CPU fan will run full time to keep that puppy cool, just continue to keep a clean case and that sort of problem should stay away as long as there is no underlying problem...

I went out and bought a piece of PVC pipe and slid it into the door's hem, then just tied a rope onto the frame and looped it under the door. I roll it up by hand and secure it with the rope...

I think that it depends on who does the work. I had a complete service before my trip this summer, yet for some reason they couldn't lube the swing arm. I need my cruise fixed now and I'm waiting for a good weather day when I manage to stay awake after work to get down there... In whole, I've been happy with their work...

cruise control problem on 05 RSTD
dr_bar replied to truckin48's topic in Royal Star and Royal Star Tour Deluxe Tech Talk
Have the same problem, though it started to act up only recently right around the same time I took a performance hit at slow speeds when not fully warmed up. It stalls very easily so it's going in for a look see by the stealer. -
SO! What are the AGES of the DRIVERS of VR.Org?
dr_bar replied to Zfrebird4's topic in Watering Hole
54 with a birthday sneaking up early in the new year. 2 daughters, 1 grandson, 18 nieces and nephews, 22 great nieces and nephews, 1 great great niece. (I think I'm going to have to recheck that birth certificate... ) -
A friend had a similar problem, one day it worked, the next it didn't. Then just like yours, it started working again. The culprit was the little button that shut off the screen when laptop was closed. It apparently was sticking closed when the laptop was opened so effectively telling the computer it was closed.

No offence, but one post is probably enough. I have posted a link in the other...
