  11. I don't understand... Am I to infer from your post that your not able to remain a member??? That would seem quite odd with the Supporting Member label by your name...
  12. Thanks for the replies...
  13. what type and make of pads are you using while pulling the extra weight of a trailer???
  14. My IPX-4 rated Magellan got about 10 drops of rain on it and it quit working,. Had to fight with Magellan to get it replaced and to this day don't trust it in the rain. Hence the new acquisition... But yes, it had both Canada and the USA preloaded although you had to switch between them to access the maps.
  15. If that's the case, then it's probably like Boomer's. My Garmin is just a tad bit more expensive and I really didn't need to go that far, but I liked the unit and it's options. It came loaded with a lot more than just a road/street map of Canada and the USA. This baby should be able to find me an icecream cone at the touch of a button, lol...
  16. What model do you have???
  17. Lock her up and throw away the key, a good lookin' woman on a bike is the last thing the testosterone in your neighbourhood needs... She looks as pleased as can be with her new wheels....
  18. I like the idea of veteran plates as well. I know several people that are running them here in BC http://www3.telus.net/drbar/pics/Veteran-Sample-Motorcycle-G.gif
  19. Won't let me post either, just checked it out and it's telling me I've got crappy taste in food... (Canadian reviews)
  20. It is a marine chartplotter in disguise... Rated at IPX 7 Pre-loaded with: US marine detailed maps for the entire US coast, including Alaska and Hawaii. City Navigator maps for all of North America Over 6 million points of interest, (hotels, restaurants, gas stations, marinas, attractions etc.) You can add optional Weather, Audio and Sonar and it's XM Satellite Radio ready you just need an account... It also has expandable memory.
  21. Just picked up a Garmin GPSmap 478 on the weekend, pricey but I've looked and found this to be what I was looking for. Now, if I can figure out how to use it before I leave for the rally... http://www3.telus.net/drbar/pics/478.jpg
  22. I bought stands for my trailer that slide into the frame at the rear. When you want to store it, slide them in and tip the trailer up on to the stands. The tow bar can be unbolted and slides toward the rear of the trailer for ceiling clearance...
  23. How about a speaker and Amp upgrade... Bazooka Stereo
  24. Gee, I wonder if the verbal agreement constitutes a binding contract???
  25. Check out Barons... It sits right on your brake reservoir... http://www3.telus.net/drbar/pics/~tach.jpg
