That's the same email that he used when he registered. His membership has expired but it looks like he may have tried to register again but his account is still awaiting the email confirmation. Perhaps he entered the wrong email address or something. I'm just not sure.

Heck Gene, you should bring your son to maintenance day next year. He could probably make some good money over the weekend.

It happens to me all the time. Especially if I type a long article or post. I read it several times and then after I post it, I end up finding something obvious like that.
-
I think it's a GREAT start. Very clean and easy to tell what it's about. You have a real talent for photography. I like them all but especially the picture in the bottom row, second from the right, that mixes black and white with the color. Very nice. Also the one that uses the same technique but only the bottles are in color. Now if you want critique, and it may simply be a regional thing, but the following sentence would not be correct here. Maybe a typo? This is a selection of my work to give you any idea of what I can do for you. seems it should be: This is a selection of my work to give you an idea of what I can do for you.

OK...I read it again and maybe you are right but what got me off track was at the very top of your post where it says: "in places like Mexico, there are very low cost health insurance options." In reading the remainder, it appears that maybe they didn't have one of those options because they did say that they decided to be "self-insured". Hey...to each his or her own. I guess if I HAD to do it I would but I hope I will never do so if I have any options here.
-
I also wish the very best for your son and for you. It is NOT my intention to scare you but I feel that it must be mentioned. I hope that you are aware of it and I understand that you are doing what you have to do but you should still be aware of it. http://www.foxnews.com/health/2010/08/11/scientists-new-superbug-spreading-india/

No, IMSS is NOT the bottom rung according to that article. It is somewhere in the middle and from other information that I've found, is the one that many Americans opt for. Even the link that I posted pointed out that it is NOT the bottom rung. "IMSS is one of several public health systems in Mexico, each with its own network of hospitals and clinics. The program, which was founded in 1943, is funded by a combination of payroll deductions, employer contributions and government funds. It covers 50.8 million workers. IMSS facilities are a step up from the state hospitals, but not as advanced as Mexico's private hospitals, which are often world-class, said Curtis Page, a Tempe, Ariz., doctor and co-author of a book about health care in Mexico." I do think that they will likely change the law if there starts to be a mad rush of people taking advantage of it. The article does point out that they are losing money.
-
You folks can have it. I think I'll just stick to the good old USA. Here is a quote from one article that I found. "The IMSS plan is primarily designed to support Mexican taxpayers who have been paying into the system for decades, and officials say they don't want to be overrun by bargain-hunting foreigners." I would think that some down there would feel the same as some up here who don't like them coming here and taking advantage of our welfare, social security and etc. seeing as they have never paid into it. Sounds kind of hypocritical to me that anybody here should expect to benefit from THEIR system. Here is the complete article: http://www.usatoday.com/news/world/2009-08-31-mexico-health-care_N.htm

When I went to work for my current company about 7 years ago, they asked me to change from Verizon to AT&T. I did so, for about 3 days. I couldn't even get a signal at my house with the AT&T phone and had never had a problem with Verizon. I tried a couple different phones but it was a no go. I talked them into letting me stay with Verizon. I may be the only employee in the company with a Verizon phone. I've discussed this with some of my co-workers and they all complain about the AT&T service. Those that travel a lot as I do are always having problems with no signals. About 2 years ago, the company sent me another AT&T phone and said that since there had been a lot of improvements with the AT&T network over the past few years that they wanted me to try it again. Same results. Very spotty coverage in the areas that I traveled and I had to go outside to a specific area of my yard before I could get a decent signal at home. I kept it for about 2 weeks and tried it off and on in my travels but it was a no go for me. Many of my customers are in small towns and rural areas and the AT&T service just doesn't cut it for me. I was talking about this with the President of our company at last fall's sales meeting and he admitted that since the Iphone was introduced, he was having a lot of problems now in the larger cities. He said that he often gets "all circuits busy" when he needs to make a call. He feels that due to so many Iphone users surfing the web and etc. that AT&T doesn't have enough capacity now. He said that they are looking at moving everybody to Verizon in the future. I never wanted a Blackberry but a few weeks ago, I got one anyway. The company decided that they wanted all of us to be able to get our email during the day while on the road. I did not want it at ALL but that didn't really seem to matter. Anyway, I've been using it for about 3 weeks now and I actually like it pretty well. It does have weather, navigation...most of the other things that some of you have mentioned but I seldom use any of that stuff. I don't need nav and weather when I have both on my Zumo but it's there if I ever were to need it. The only thing I DON'T like about the Blackberry and the small buttons. I'm constantly pressing the wrong button even when trying to dial a number. Hopefully I will get used to it sooner or later.

Well, their website appears to be gone but I clicked on the "cached" version of their site and found this info. You might call the number and see if they are still around at all. Mile High Enterprises PMB-107 / 4880 Galley Road Colorado Springs Colorado 80915 U.S.A. 1 - 8 7 7 - 4 6 5 - 0 5 8 4

Well, I've never climbed anything nearly that high but used to climb the smokestacks at the power plant where I worked. The highest one was 740 ft. Just a straight ladder right up the side. I would climb to the top to work on the lights. The worse time was when there were contractors there re-doing the walkway around the top and there were just single 2 x 12's laid around it to walk on at the top. They would give as you walked around the top. Of course, that was over 20 years ago. I doubt I physically do it now.

Not available for XP and I'm not about to update my operating system just to run Internet Explorer. Guess I'll stick with Firefox.

Do you have passing lights on it? There have been MANY cases where the wires to the passing lamps get pinched when they cross over the triple tree and end up blowing the fuse. I don't remember what all is on that one fuse. -
Yea, we went through this a good while back but then I couldn't remember which way it was. If you are logged in, it adds some info to the URL that somebody else can't get to. You have to copy and paste the links when NOT logged in.

That link isn't working. Were you logged in to Ebay when you copied and pasted? I'm posting it again and I'm NOT logged in at Ebay. We'll see if it works. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Yamaha-Venture-Millennium-Edition-/190443834405?pt=US_motorcycles&hash=item2c57564c25

Well either he doesn't understand what you are looking for or I don't. If you go to this link, you can see that you can buy it without speakers. Then just plug your ear buds in. http://www.edsets.com/sonic_series_3g?category_id=76

I don't know if anybody offers just a hand held mic any longer. Edsets sells a system where the microphone can be included without any speakers. The mike mount has a jack to plug earbuds into.

That's exactly what the 6th wire is for. Bushtec offers an interior light option and that is what the wire is for.
