  1. Naw...probably not hard enough. You need to knock on some REAL HARD wood. Try this one.
  2. It will fit, no problem at all. You just have to re-size it just a bit in any graphics program. Not that I would ever go to the trouble of actually doing it but it would be interesting to take some measurements and see if it would be possible.

I honestly don't remember. I think the bet was with Black Owl but I don't remember now what it was.
  4. You know the old saying....beauty is in the eye of the beer holder...I mean beholder.

Yea...it was dnelson or dknelson...I don't remember now. Your right though, it was NOT creative at all.
  7. You guys are pretty quick. I was just playing around and thought I would build the bike that I want. I just need it in silver. You are right, it is the VMAX engine in the RSV. I just sort of combined two photos that I took off the starmotorcycles site. Or...I could try to convince you all that it is a "spy photo" but I know you are all too smart to fall for that.

LOL...yea...my mom and dad named me Freebird. Actually, I got mine because I lost a bet.
  9. Anybody see any major change?
  10. hmmmmm.........why does the phrase "fox watching the hen house" come to mind.
  11. Yea...I forgot...you are even staying on premises. I may hire security for next year.
  12. LOL...that's funny. I always just assumed that you were a LOT older than Jeff.
  13. Naw...I'm a leg man. The backup singers have much better legs.
  14. I've got mixed feelings about the upgrade to the 665. There are some things that I like better but also some things that I liked better with the 550. Pluses for the 665 include the larger screen, larger MP3 capacity, lane guidance, clock automatically adjusts for time zone changes when you are traveling. Things I liked better on the 550 are that the XM receiver was better. It always got a stronger signal than the new one. The 550 would remember if you had the XM on. On the 665 you have to re-start the XM every time you turn off the unit. The touch screen on the 550 was more responsive but not everybody agrees with this. Some feel that the 665 screen is more responsive. Mine is not. The end result is that I think the 665 is a slightly better unit than the 550 but I don't think it is enough better that I would do it over if I had the chance.
  15. I hope and will continue to pray that it works out in your favor. Yes, those attorney fees can be killer but there are some things in life that are worth what you have to pay. If you have only had to go to court one time, you are very lucky. I went through this in Texas about 16 years ago and there ended up being 4 court appearances. My attorney fees went over $10,000.00. It was a hard hit but worth every dime.
  16. I don't think that's the one that I remember but it will sure do. That one actually looks nice.
  17. File emailed Monty. Thanks. I'll also check out that program Bummer.
  18. LOL....we missed all the way around. I have version 12. I don't use it often enough to buy a new copy but do need this one file converted.
  19. When I got my last new laptop, I was unable to install my Corel Draw due to a bad disk. Now I find that I do not have the necessary file format to have the VentureRider mugs screened. All I have is a .jpg file. I need to have it converted to a vector based file in one of these formats. Adobe Illustrator CS4 CorelDraw X3 Freehand MX I also need the colors reversed so that the design and text will be black and the background clear. Do any of you have the graphics software to convert this it for me? If so, I can email you the file or upload it so that you can download it. The file is 570 kb.
  20. OK folks...I'm going to start another thread to get an exact count. Will probably start asking for your money either tomorrow or the next day. The price is going to be about $25.00 per mug including shipping. That is with our logo as with the last ones. These are the larger 16 oz. mugs and come with the removable tea basket. They will be a bit more to Canada and to Australia. I'll have to get a shipping price. I think this is a good price. It is about the same as the sell for on Amazon and those are without our logo.
  21. Here's the article in the Tech Library on replacing the clutch. http://www.venturerider.org/forum/showthread.php?t=10518
  22. Yes, I don't miss much. I saw cheerleaders on some football games last weekend showing more skin than that though.
  23. OH...just to keep you all updated. I FINALLY got a response back from my supplier. A lot of excuses but the bottom line is that they would have a price for my no later than tomorrow. I think it may have been my email to the CEO of the company that finally resulted in a response.
  24. Good luck to you. I went through it about 16 years ago. It cost a lot in attorney fees but was worth every dime. I did win and she ended up only with court supervised visitation which she never exercised. I was also awarded child support but never received a single payment. I think that with interest and penalties, she owes somewhere around $125,000.00 now. I'll never see it and that's fine, at least it kept you away. One thing you will learn though is that the child support enforcement folks don't go after deadbeat moms the way they go after deadbeat dads. Like I said, the money is not important and I never asked for it anyway, it is just the law that it was ordered.
  25. I sure wish I could make that one. I would sure like to get a decent deal on one of those lift tables.
