    A friend of mine in the Netherlands owns a 99 venture …over there the front turn signals don’t Lit up like ours do …how can he change that ..So he can use them also as driving lights.

    My choke knob does the same ..I use sometimes WD40 .. and then the choke knob works again for a few weeks.

    I found this information. Wolo used to post their rating distance which I believe is: 118dB @ 3 ft. From www.stebel.it 139dB @ 4 in. and 115dB @ 2 m.

    Thank you for the offer... I contacted this afternoon a local Kawasaki dealer..and he charged me 40 dollars and that was including the fluid ...I know one thing ..the yamaha dealer will not see me anymore..

    I called 4 yamaha dealers in my area .. and they all quoted me around the 120 - 140 dollars.?.....and they complain that the market is down I never bleed the brakes/clutch before ..maybe I have to check for some tools ....the problem that I have is..I have to work outside on my bike..

    I contacted this morning the Yamaha dealer, for a price quote for changing the brake and clutch fluid. they told me it will take up to 2 hours to change the fluids ...is this correct ? I thought always you can do that in 1 hour? They quoted my 120 dollars labor and 20 dollars for the fluids.

    I bought by walmart the Motogear cover xxl touring for 60 bucks ..it is heavy duty and it fits perfect my venture.

    yes .. after a day .. there is a little bit of anti freeze under the bike ( side of kick stand )

    I have since last week a small anti freeze leak ...you will see it on the left hand side ( back cilinder ) when the bike is parked longer then 1 day ....but when the engine is warm or running it is gone. can this be the same problem .? ..see red arrow. http://i15.photobucket.com/albums/a372/color01joy/venture-1.jpg

    Me and my friends went for a lunch ride this afternoon to Hertford, NC. it was great. Only a little chilly.
