    I do not think those will be comfortable compared to armrest I would see if someone close to you had one of these and see how the wife likes it, if the dealer has it they may be willing to let you put it on and see if the wife likes it before you actually buy it.

    eddyG before you go hanging up the option Towel I can tell you that GodLover, Debron, Lowell and some others have converted over to the Kawasaki Voyager XII. These are great bikes with an Inline 4 that is easy to maintain and last forever. They have all the same components of the wing and Venture.     Economically the Oem Rick Butler mod and a diamond r or utopia backrest add a sheepskin and you will have a very comfortable ride if you are already satisfied with oem. I run a ultimate set with rider backrest and it is hard to beat I can ride twice as long as I could ride on the mustang. Like most have said the mustang pushes you forward. You do have to get the rain covers for the Ultimates because they will absorb as has been stated, But the design is part of the reason they are a head and shoulders above the Mustang.

    I would first try the antennas if that does not fixe your problem it is probably a cb amplifier problem. By the way I am interested in old gen 2 amplifiers if anyone has a bad one laying around.

    I have to throw the bs flag up on this, every dealer around hear carries mutliple brands and it is becoming more and more common for them to be a metric Dealership on one side of the building and Harley on the other (the 2 I have seen so far are actually 2 seperate buildings on the same property). Good luck with your efforts but I am not sure you have all the facts, that are pertinent to this situation.

    We have 3 couples headed down to Tampa Bay (Ruskin) Going to be there on the 5th of March stay through the 11th of March. We will be taking off Tuesday the 8th on A ride over to St. Augustine(around lake george). IF you got any ride recommendations or wanna hook up give us a shout. We will be headed down to daytona on the ninth then back to Tampa the remaining couple of Days.

    It was not like this was a family affair type rallie, I have never been there but have seen plenty of pictures from friends that attended and although I am okay with what i saw many are not. who knows what condition the town was left in. A lot of Rallies the Town gives complete access to the biking community. This town was sending a message or quite possibly a few individuals that are on the board that had gotten offended.

    Hey does anyone run one of these? can you share your likes, your dislike etc. How do you determine what temperature to set it at? hwo quick is the reaction time on the road if you start losing air? thanks!

    My wife is about that size and she rides an 1100 vstar classic. she has looked at the 950 tourer but does not like how the airbvoxes push the legs out.

    I have an 08 f-150 super cab Love the truck, but would have to say if the Toyota tundra was in the money I would have leaned that way. They all make good products it is a matter of finding the one that is right for you. Good luck how much you want for your 96? I am in the market to get something for my kids.

    Not me I have a ultimate with built in rider backrest. I am sure it will find a good home.

    My take is if you do not know much or anything about it let him sell it and bring you cash. does he have maintenance records? is he the original owner? has he had the top end rebuilt? This isn't built like the Harley's of today and would need alot of maintenance. You would have to be a really harley nut looking for this bike to spend 10K for it and most banks will not finance something this old leaving you cash only buyers. Not a good trade!

    I applaud you for keeping up with all this. Is there a way to just use one thread heading for all the thought you want to know about ads? Makee it so that no-one can post to is and it auto delets after 14 days?

    I have not been riding as long as many of you have, but can say that I am learning that if a car is showing signs of wanting to get around I let them even if it means pulling over or takign an exit. One more thing we have to be aware of while out riding. May god bless and keep those that have been affected by this horrific accident. For you law enforcement guys what would happen if an american citizen was in Mexico and was found DUI after an accident of this nature?
