Started the morning with one of my horses standing out in the yard at 4:30 this morning so get dressed and put her in with the others,and its below zero outside so I am wide awake now so much for sleeping in. Then no cold water got that going and the drain pluged up got the plunger give it a couple of good plunges the pipe came apart coffee grounds and water all over the floor, had to talk with Sharon about the coffee grounds, Then I got to chat with a couple of good friends and now I have a big pot of Venison stew cooking away on the wood stove and does it ever smell good. Starting to feel like the start of a good year. Happy New Year Orlin

The Little Sturgis Rally in Sturgis, KY has been shut down permanently. The announcement came today and was due to the fact that fair board wanted an EXPONENTIALLY amount of money for renting the grounds for one week. The cost went from $1500 to $17,000. The rally is no more.

Figured there was no sense in waiting until the last minute. So, made and got confirmation on reserving a cabin at the Ponderosa Camp Grounds for the 2011 International Rally in Cody WY. Sure can't beat the price, and they are conveniently located...

There are six of us heading from Windsor to Colorado on the 9th of Aug and intend to take 3 or 4 days getting there, we have 3 weeks to explore the state and would like to get some info on camp grounds in the N, central and SE. We will be doing the Northern rides, then down to the SE. There are a couple of camp grounds that seem pretty good, one around Dolores...Priest Gulch....and Durango...Riverside Resort& RV....any help or suggestions that anyone may have would be appreciated. This is just a sample of yesterday's sea of chrome. It was the "Miracle Ride for Special Olympics" held at the Polo Grounds in Farmington , CT. Some are saying approx. 10,000 people!! You had better remember where you left your bike!! Anyone ever ride around Rough River or Nolin Lake in Ky? this is my stomping grounds, some pretty country for sure.

hi everyone gotta love the snow! Everyday its here its one less day to look at it . Any way vacation next year is a trip down skyline drive and part of the blue ridge parkway, then down to the keys. Once in florida espicially in the southern part anyone have recomendations on camp grounds?
