You will always have a voltage drop through a connector and switch . It is usually .03 volts for each connector and switch. You will also have a voltage drop at the faring when things are turned on 1-2 volts is very possible due to the amp draw of these systems and the marginal size wiring that all manufacturers use. That means at the battery you could have 13 volts and at the fairings power source only show 11 volts So the best cure is run a ground and hot circuit to the battery from the fairing to get a proper reading on a voltage gage or battery bug. On bearing's we put part in the freezer to shrink them and the other is heated up. So has anyone tried to put the wheel in the freezer or an ice chest with dry ice to shrink it and lay the tire in the sun for a couple of hours to expand it? might work? I have a wheel on the way and will buy a CT when I get back from vacation and will try it. If it still don't seat at a low pressure I will probably turn the rim down a few thousands. I feel that a high seat pressure may cause belt damage, separation and/or not seating straight that causes the dreaded wobbles that some have had problems with

I will agree with HERB you probably have the wires backwards, or not making connection(Don't you love the way Yamaha say to wire just bend the wires over in the connector and put back together)I could not do that I soldered them. They use the same leds(bulb) for park and stop it is just run through a resistor in the harness.So 99% chance the unit is ok.

I use mine as primary transportation and trips. Rain shine and snow take the truck when there is ice have not found a way to put ice skates on it yet

You could go over to Lordsburg and run 70-191 its a little better scenery wise. ether way have a fun and safe trip

Midrsv I use the Harley suit like the one from St Paul Harley that is where I got mine. They had the 5X in stock( and yes runs larger then listed) a few other brand claim this size but came up way short. I am very happy with it other them it saying Harley. I stay comply dry and have put about 500 miles on it and still looks new. It has extra material where need to protect the suit from the Eng. like I said very happy. Got one from cycle gear for mom don't know the brand but you buy the pants and jacket separate those pants run small she wound up with 2x in paints and large in jacket .not near the quality of the Harley suit

Trailer done and made its maiden voyage 800 miles to Leakey Texas and no problems and the home built hitch is good to

Just got home the wind never did die down to day. Friday was a miserable day rained on me and mom from Cleburne to Round Rock and storms on Friday night. But Saturday the clouds parted and the sun came out. we done some riding before heading to the Frio River Pecan Camp and were able to meet Tom his mother and sister , Rockhound and a few other ( I am lousy with names) was able to shot the bull for 3 hours before having to head back to Kerravill to the hotel (left just in time the deer were on the roads on 16). Next time we will stay at the camp to far to run back and forth. Any one that has the chance should ride this area. We Both had a good time:dancefool:Here is some of what we seen

When I worked a Cadillac for 10 years, it was bet into our head that we took care of the customer no mater how picky they were. No grease, no scratches, no dent period. I am the same way with my stuff my 98 GMC is not dented or scratches and I plan on keeping it that way. My bike has some scratches and it drives me nuts but I bought it that way. and will repaint it in the next year or two, So no your not to picky you just want you property respected which does not happen nowadays

yep Texas changed there WC laws about 8 years ago now they have a formula for everthing since I came back to work in 2 day with restrictions ( I felt I owed it to the School District since I was the only technician and had been here5 years) The comp doctor said nothing was seriously wrong. He made this assumption with out any tests or even touching me.It has been an up hill battle ever since.The state Doctors evaluate me 6 months later he sent me to another doctor a few thumps to my ankles and a drag across the bottom of my foot and then sent me for 3 x-rays which turned it to 16 the same day.Next day was sent for MRI and the damage was very plain to see. Was sent to surgeon the next week who suggested shots to start with to reduce the inflammation(and then wanted another MRI) WC said no not in the formula (I Guss) since then Dennie Dennie Dennie 15 months later WC sent me to another doctor for second opinion and he agreed with the surgeon shots and then probably surgery it like a waiting game Wish I lived in a different state Texas is the worst for WC claims and a lawyer will do no good in Texas.

All I am going to add is the worker comp system is broken and has been for years. To many pencil pusher are running the system and not listing to the doctors. On some injures the longer you wait to treat the less likely you are to recover completely scar tissue and calcium forms and at time in place that are not operable. I feel this is how the new health system will be then other might under stand what it like dealing with workers comp. As far as WC sneaking around to take my picture I welcome it I am on video all day at work and was on video when injured you could see me arguing with the boss over this I finely gave up to save my job and did as told. I have nothing to hide As far as telling your boss some thing is not safe, in the economy we have been in the last 3 years you do what you are told if not you could and often time do get fired employees are a dime a dozen and I work in a state that can terminate at any time for no reason ( at will state ) your state is probably different I RIDE BECOUSE IT ONE OF MY LAST ENJOYMENTS IN LIFE

Well solodadof2d no offence taken but I was the one that pushed the bus by my self as instructed by my employer( he was here a short time) I have given up a lot sold boat could not stand to rid in it, Sold my gold wing could not stand to ride it eather. Tried several other bikes and the angle I sit on the venture gave some relief, I have not worked on my street rod in 2 years To much pain and worn out after work. As for being a burden on my fellow employees and employer? I am the only one in my department and I still get the job done. I am at work ever day on lots of drugs but here doing my job. If the doctors would give me a full release as I ask for 18 months ago I could go with my private insurance but they say no way to much liability on there part. if the WC insurance would have done as the doctors wanted 18 month ago I might have been fine now the latest MRI show other problems due to not have the proper care in the first place. I still do my job and the workers comp insurance is showed as a benefit on my pay stub so why should I not get the proper care that I deserve as I was injured doing as instructed by my employer And lastly if I get a little enjoyment from riding a motorcycle a few hr a day am I not entitled to it? I cant walk for long distance any more ,fishing is out long trips are not enjoyable any more Use to go to National parks and monuments now it is just depressing that my 71 year old mother has to Waite on me to taking a brake because I can feel my legs.

AZ1103 I did not take it personally, I was just trying to let you know that there are some of us with WC claims that are legitimate. I will agree we are few and far between. I know of 2 that are milking the system at work and have been off with pay for a long time. 1 cut his hand it works fine when he goes fishing but for some reason he cant use it when he see the doctor go figure.The other has come back to work she hurt her shoulder and can't lift more the 5# so I pre trip,fuel and wash her bus for here but she has no problem carrying here 3year old and going bowling. I am the opposite, the doctors do not want me at work (my MRI look pretty bad they do not know how I can still function as well as I do). I begged to get the release I got (as Tolerated), I love what I do I just wish the WC insurance would try what 3 doctors and 1 surgeon has suggested( the injection run $800 x3 injections $2100 total but WC feel keeping me on med's the rest of my life at $1800 a month is cheaper (I know that don't make sense to me either:confused24:). I am doing my part I have lost 48# not easy to do when you are in consent pain. I weight less now then when I was in High School 30 year ago. The worst thing is walking and standing more then 20 min or so my legs go numb and I have fallen down from this. So I sit down and lean a lot to shift my spine to help with this problem.And if I was not on the Med's. I could drink beer :group cheers:and Fall down o'well :doh:I save a lot on beer( more money for safety chrome) this way now where is my Vicodin

As far as poss fraud? I had a MRI done 3 years before my injury and everthing was normal. After pushing a bus and twisting wrong, I went down doctors do not want me at work ( but I am not one to set at home) I have only missed 13 days in the 2 years since the incident other then medical have not go a dime from WC. I do not want to sit at home so I do what I can. I maintain; 22 Buses, 18 support vehicle, grounds equipment, buffers, and vacuums for a small school district. I am a 1 man shop and still stay in my budget. So AZ1103 maybe there are some WC cases that are real ! I just want my life back, I have not tried to work the system I just want to get the help I think and the doctors feel I deserve( and Workers Comp Kept deigning it). If I had not went to the WC Doctors I could have use my Blue Cross insurance and would have been taken car of by now but cant due to worker comp claim, Catch 22:witch_brew:
