  1. Any mountain pass after Aug 31 can get tricky most trucker will throw Iron (chains) in there rigs by Sept 1( some states require it) I personally seen these passes closed while I drove my 98 KW . Snoqualmie pass in Washington closed in early Sept. about 12 years ago. Also Cabbage Pass(I-84) in OR the same year, Soldier pass (191)in Utah, Loveland pass in Co about 15 years ago.
  2. On mine they run out side the rubber. When turned all the way I have about 1/2 inch slack ( I can move the cables back and forth at the grips and on the side of the bike by the splitter for the cruse)I have not lowered the frount of my bike, but I dont know how that would effect it. You can get to tight of a bend and the cables will bind. You could have an adjustment problem at the carbs or the grip. If you lived close I would have you bring it by and would help you fix it.may be some one close will offer.
  3. I routed mine between the bracket for the fairing and the triple tree see picture 1. you can do this with out pulling the fairing . Just take the cable lose at the junction box for the cruse picture 2 and at the carb . pull them out and reroute them between the bracket. Also make sure they go behind any wiring (so it does not hold it off the stearing tube) when I did this with my wheel at full lock right or left, I still had slack in the cables
  4. Roadhand go ahead I have been outbid and can build one for about the same price it is now.

The lights have a solid chrome look when off and a 3d LED look when on about a7 hr job start to finish. Also a 2003 starlight trailer I picked up for $250 to day.It has a little road rash but some fiberglass, new LED light and Pearl white paint will be good as new.
