yah for michigan, let those who ride decide !!!

I don't know, i got them on ebay for like $30, I think one is a cat muff but no big deal. bike runs great and sounds good. not to loud not to quiet.
-
go with stock "rk" muff's, sound pretty good. I drilled out my stocks last year and they sounded like crap so i plugged them back up and lived with it. last week i put the "rk" pipes i've had for a couple years and they sound great, can't believe i ever took them off. helps cover up the whine.

The handlebar risers are well worth the money. they bring the bars back to a real comfortable postion. Don't worry about the cables,ect... not being long enough they will stretch to fit, however at full turn the throttle cable can be a tad snug, no big deal.

free valve adjustment.

I spent many many years bldg. custom homes, the hi dollar kind but when it came to my home we picked it out at the mod. lot and after some personal touches people do not believe its a super single wide. I didn't have the time to build it my way but the time to customize it. 2x6 walls and block foundation are a must. crap pics are my other laptop.

I ride a big smooth bike and a big smooth car......
-
the whine is nothing to be concerned about, it only happens at certain rpms and its cause the gears are cut for durability and the" clutch basket" is what some folks do to solve the problem. I find that after awhile I don't even notice. these bikes are bullet proof and a hoot to ride, if you can get a test ride and check for yourself and wind the engine hi cause thats when its happy.
-
were pulling a trailer all week 60-70 mph and lucky to get 38mpg.... alone i get about 38 with girl on back i get 42, must ride smoother with passenger.....
-
I sure hope that wasn't you that blew by us on 196 saturday, but then again you wouldn't have your venture on a trailer being pulled by a toyota avalon , would you??????
-
were heading up there tomorrow, staying in paradise and then munising. temps in the 70's gotta love it. we'll be there all week.

WOW, sure alot of opinions on this subject...thanx to eveyone who opined. I think i will wait until 50,000 miles to check them or just buy something different, who knows. I do maint. this bike every year with fresh fluids and plugs and seafoam ect.... so "I" am very confident that 50k will be no big deal... thanx again for allthe input
