This is a good time, draws a lot of motorcycles and is FREE!!!!!!!! Mt. View Ar. is a neat old town, the square is closed for mc only, the bike games are a hoot to watch and lots of vendors. There will be local musicians playing at different spots in the evenings, and a band playing Sat. nite. We saw them last year and they are pretty good. This is not a very big town and rooms are going fast. We are taking off tomorrow for a 9 day getaway, having new avons put on this am. 18K out of the last set, not too bad. We are spending the 1st nite in Natural Bridge Va, next nite in Black Mtn. then 2 nites at Mt Pisgah. Then a nite at the Biltmore Inn, next nite in Blowing Rock, then wind our way back up the Parkway. Looks like the weather is gonna be pretty good, any recommendations on neat things to see along the way is appreciated. If ya see a shiney 06 out there stop me I will buy the coffee. Craig

Actually more to the point ... A deer hit me last nite. On my way home from the range last nite ( teaching a pistol refresher class ) I decided to take the long way home... Nice nite, relatively clear, why not. I headed out to phoenixville, and took rte 29. As I was heading past someof the horse farms (back side of valley forge mountain) heading toward the covered bridge. I saw several herds of whitetail on the side of the road.. They scattered as I came riding through. When I got to the third herd... One broke away from my left and decided that crossing the road toward the loud thing was the safer way to go...instead of into the woods. Good thing it was a little one (for me) and it smacked right in to my left leg and saddlebag. Bike didn't waiver a bit. Took the hit, remained upright and no damage ( that I could see) to the bike. Man was I lucky

We are loking for people to ride with. We are leaving Arcade Saturday morning and heading for Erie Pa via 86. We will be taking I71 to Columbus and then I70. We plan on stopping somewhere around Columbus for the nite. Anybody want to hook up along the way or start from here??

Well i am still breathing no matter what Mother Nature do's , i left Fulton TX. Fri. afternoon to beat the storm , got to Beeville TX. and needed gills stayed the nite in pleasentville next day ran down hwy 90 through Choke canyon met a lot of Boarder Patrol , if you pulled over , there would be one there in 2 mins , witch very ruff on old man full of soda pop , anyway nite 2 i got lucky and got the last room at the Days Inn in Ft. Stockton Tx. it was full of Storm Chasers , they were in the parking lot taking pics of the clouds and watching their radar , just a peachy place to spend the nite , i slept VERY well ! the next day [ today ] left in the fog , up to Roswell made a left on hwy 380 over to Hondo a great ride , than down to White Sands , HOT AND SUN BURNT , Wally's brand of spray on sun block don't work ! OCH ! going to try for Page AZ. tomorrow . Thom

Charlene and I went out to eat with Clay18, his wife Lori and beautiful baby girl Chelby last nite. She is a little princess and is gonna break some hearts in the near future. It was good seeing them again, of course we talked about bikes, guns, among other things. He is rebuilding his front forks on his 1st gen, but I couldnt be much help, and could use some help from someone in the know. Here are some pics from last nite.

We are setting out sometime this afternoon when dale gets off work.Time ?? who knows ! Going to stop in Springfield, Il for the nite....then on to ohio wed morning. First stop 2nd daughters to see grandkids, and spend the nite. Second stop moms, spend the nite there thursday. Dale is heading on over to Dons area thursday morning to see some old friends since we used to live there.(notice how hes skipping out on the MIL visit??) Haylie and I will catch up with him there friday. My oldest daughter flew out here saturday and will be riding with me back to ohio( she lives there) while dale rides the bike. Will be stopping into dons sometime friday afternoon/evening. Dale has a step sister who lives right there in S. Amherst she is keeping Haylie all day saturday for us while we attend MD. Heading west Sunday and spend the nite at dales bros in IN then its on home mon morning...... Wish us luck that the pain in the a** van doesnt give me any more probs on the trip.... beginning of trip isnt looking good for dale on the bike....storms around here this afternoon predicted..... see u all in ohio !!!

hi all made it to meadville,pa thursday nite about 6:00 pm only about 250 miles. had wanted to make it a little futher down the road. but after visting the falls it was time to stop. ( sarah's butt was sore ) finaly made it to mother-in-laws in knoxville,tn friday nite around 11:00 pm. over 700 miles in one day, sarah hug in there and did not complain. we had a great time, would do it over again. i wish to thank everyone, ya'll made us so welcome. there are so many people to thank. made so many new friends. leaving knoxville sunday morning will be back to houston monday afternoon. i have more to say when i get home. thanks to all best reguards don c. and sarah now what about that wet t-shirt contest
