  6. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ while obvious annie, i had to laugh. that was funny. ok, bak 2 the thread. If you still have the gold wing in mind - snarley bill has this one - "an 08 premium sound, dark red metallic, 14,800 miles, with almost 1 yr. left on warranty. i have the title and am asking $16,000. it is loaded to the gills with all the neat extras. this one looks showroom new. been in the rain once."
  7. I dont have a direct answer, but we have the stock pillow top seat that many folks here have. we like it very much. I have sat on many stock seats and not liked them, but that's me. opinions vary as much as the size of the butts that get put on seats and is thus an idividual thing. for some quick reading on what others use and their opinion of seats, use the search button and put corbin or mustang or butler and you will see just what has gone on with so many members in their quest for the right seat. also in the classifieds you may find a seat to suit your fanciness that was replaced by a what ever seat. welcome to the site. ride safe.
  8. while a snapped cupcake is only half a cupcake, it is still a cupcake.
  9. Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) I think you will be ok. the quick stepper you have there will keep things in check.
  10. glory to the Lord for prayers answered and the goat finding his oil leak. it has happened several times to the folks in this club. keep your faith and it will keep you.
  11. there are a lot of bikes out there right now and the prices are decent. check out the bikes in our classified forum before you plunk down you dough. the bikes here are well known, so there is nothing hidden and no sales hype. do a search and there are some links to bikes that may still be on the block.
  12. another avid woodworker here, I don't have time to make stuff right now, other than on my lathe, but we have a couple rent houses we are remodeling, so that is takin up my time. I recently acquired some new tools and had to re-arrange the shop. here is a basic pic of what it looks like. i do scooter n cage work closer to the big door. from the rear driver tail light of the lil red truck, look to your left a bit an u can see the right mirror of the scooter.

  16. they do put it in a pretty bottle. I really thought that stuff was lubricant ! I found it really was, cause once you had enough you find yourself sliding to the floor.
  17. I thank the Good Lord above that we are both employed. in these times of economic uncertainty, i would do what's necessary, even if it meant giving up the scooter. as many here know, it can get worse and we look for better days coming. there are worse decisions to be made.
  18. this is the Watering Hole, a general discussion forum, so just about everything gets covered here. there are specific forums for straight bike talk, though, if you wish.
  19. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ I have a PM out to JBurell. he put me up last time. I will see what James comes up with. I'll keep ya'll up to date. 20. Well, it looks like I am off the fence and am going to make it to Owen's for MD. I only need brake fluid change, so, I won't be a resource hog this trip. I am looking forward to helping others and getting in some visiting. What can I bring that is not covered already or low on coverage for good and grub. I will be riding over Friday night to keep the hours down on the road. I will bring brake fluid, my lift adapter and a few tools.
  21. boy, ain't that the truth. I wish many more folks would keep in mind, that, as a business incurrs costs, it is passed onto the customer. I take care of someone else's property cause i know what it takes to keep things up plus i don't want to pay extra next time i come around due to upkeep costs going up.
