we are looking to buy a canoe. if anyone has one for sale and is within a 3 - 4 hour drive of Lake Charles, Louisiana, please give a PM. we don't mind buying new, but if we can find a nice one here that a member is wanting to sell, it would help both parties out. I don't mind a beater, but decent is usually preferable.

Is it possible to have a watering hole auto thread creator with no replies that a new item has been added to the classified section. it would be up to the individual to check and search classifieds. then, have a discussion link for the item on the item's page. the discussion thread expires and disappears at the same time the add does. the only way to the discussion thread is through the add unless subscription availability is added. a blanket deletion of ebay and craigs list would be fine. there could be a tech section on how to use each one so that the blanket deletion would not get rid of valuable information.

I buy good ole green stuff. i get the 1 gal jug and mix my own at home. usually prestone or equivalent. wal mart usually. the premix is outrageous if you calculate how much a gal of water is. if need be get a gal jug o water. this way you can pour the 1/ 2 the water into any container u want. then fill it with anti freeze. then fill the a/f jug with the water and you have 2 gal premix. now after you drain your bike and go to refill, the filler neck - remove gas tank - is small, so when at wal mart get a long slender funnel. pour slowly as the filler neck is small. remove the seat first and fill the reservoir before the radiator.

as JamesB stated, it is probably the plugs behind the fins. they don't always leave a trail. don't ask how I know this. put the penny there for each one and order 5 replacements. the 5th one is for one of the first four that you will loose. then it will be a spare when you find it 3 months from now. -
As the spoke turns - the B/F iz what he iz, but at least he rides. if it doesn't work out for them, he may still ride and upgrade to a cruiser - who knows. not many breakups wind up being friends and able to hang out. wierder things have happened.

Peace is with you, it's in you back pocket, take it out. angels are with you as are the prayers that keep circulating thru this community for all who need it.

another plug here for CompAcc. I placed an order from the clearance area and got a phone call due to the fact one item was no longer in stock. I was guided through all the similar items with points of why i may/may not want each one. I was offered a discount on a higher end pair of riding pants that closely matched the jacket i had ordered. all the while - no hurry, plain talk associate who let me get what i wanted. well , with the discount, I did get the higher end pants, but i upgraded for less, which worked for both parties. that is service and I use them when I can.

when you pull the pads off the bike, one is thicker than the other by an easy visual margin. I don't remember which is usually thinner. when you put them back in the caliper, you reverse them. the inside goes to the outside and the outside goes to the inside. that way they even out the wearing. as stated, some riders don't get this but get even wear. if you don't what your bike does, start checking every few thousand miles or so to find what your bike's rear brake characteristics is. then you know.

prayers said.

I agree with Gary and it seems to go with previous threads where experience is the same. i swap mine the same way periodically as stated - they geenerally wear unevenly for most riders. brake pads provide stopping power, not intended to last so many miles, but till you run out of pad. if you stop a lot, like city stop n go, you use up that stopping ability sooner than someone who does leisure country riding with easy stopping performed. odometer mileage is only a statistic that tells that driver how many miles it took to use up that particular set of pads.

there are a lot of opinions on the D404. I had a set on our 04 RSV when we bought it. they rode fine. not as nice as the DE3 I have on the rear now, but i still have the D404 on the front with plenty of tread. I will go E3 up front when the time comes, but I don't have any "real" complaints on the 404.

It works great - well at least it fits and looks nice. when i get a trailer, I will know how it works. now bak to the original thread - - - - -

I the pins are dry, there may be wear there that could lead to other problems down the road. let them change the rear end and start with a new one. 2 birds - one fix.

perfect husbandry, there. we who are animal lovers commend you for taking care of this orphan. that kitty will grow to give back you have given. even after it shreds some curtains! we have lost 2 of our pets recently and that is taking some getting used to. there are different folks out there who don't feel the same way and that's ok as that is just life. thanks for taking kitty cat in. nice colors!

I did not know there were 2 stock horns. the second one mentioned, I have found accidentally and, since disconnected, I re-connected it. the other horns on my 04 RSV are 2 separate horns wired together. these 2 separate horns are shaped like trucker air horns only much smaller. they are located on the bike rear, right one just in front of the rear brake caliper bracket and the left one direct opposite of the right one. are these horn looking horns the first of the factory horns?
