    Splitting the fairing apart is a piece of cake to install the splitter for additional audio inputs besides using the one behind the cassette door. Takes about 30 minutes for the entire operation apart and back together...

    I already have the SS one that I won in AK, and cherish it! I like the leather one better than my leather one as the writing seems to stand out more. You can't really read mine from the original leather ones so I am interested in a leather one if the deal goes thru!!

    Welxcome aboard Ray!! Yes I have the dash piece you need. The upper fairing on the other hand I do not have one to match but do have pieces in fair to good shape but wrong color. Two options, either drive out here to pick it up, or get to know Jaycee's Folly in Irondquiot and he may bring the dash piece back from my 4th of July party. Of course you are welcome to attend as well, we can install it then too!!!

    Yah! You can run 100 LED's and not draw any more than 1 single lightbulb!! The more light the better! You are only limited by your imagination and your pocketbook as to adding lights. The only issue you could encounter is if you replace existing lights with LEDs. Put them in your tail light and you will get the warning icon on your dash for burned out bulbs. Put them in your turn signals and they won't flash. But adding them to the existing lights does not cause any problems. There are aftermarket Stators and voltage regulators along with higher capacity batteries available if you start adding extra electrical accessories such as heated seats and clothing etc... PS Welcome aboard!!!!!

    Hmmmm, an '09, 5 year warranty, why are you burdening yourself with this issue when it is obviously the dealer's problem?? The issue has to be with the rear controller as you can't gain volume in the front from something defective, only loose it in the rear. I assume this same symptom appears using the intercom as well...
