  3. Well, you can always bid on a storage locker...
  4. Yes, we are going! Randy, if you want to leave money in Western New York, there are several casinos you can donate to, all owned by Native Americans. Heck, just give me your money and I'll deal some cards and find a spinning wheel for you...
  5. Hmmm, could have been...
  6. Yup, another vote for sheepskin! Should run you around $80. Just go to Fleabay and do a search on sheepskin and you will find seve3ral dealers withb some really nice colors and quality... Of course your silver bullet half cover is nice!
  7. Didn't you just have a birthday last year??? HAPPY BIRTHDAY BRAD!!! Becky's Birthday was yesterday...
  8. Can switching to GEICO save you money on car insurance???
  9. I upped the fuse size because Becky's vest was drawing a little over 5 amps at startup. The fuse only lasted a couple of days. You want a fuse to pop waaaay before the wire, like about 1/4 or less of the max the wire can handle...
  10. Yah Randy, I know it all too well!! My A1C has never gone as high as 9 but has been in the 8's more than once. Theyb did detect some hemoraging in one eye last year but since the cataract surgery they have not detected it since. Like you I need to loose aboutn 80 pounds...
  11. I potted a hose clamp onto my controller and clamped the controller to Becky's arm rest. I wired it into the rear accessory connector and replaced the 5 amp fuse withb a 15 amp fuse. The wire gauge on the accessory connector is a little enemic but the wire does not seem to overheat so far. One of my winter projects is to replace the wire with a little thicker gauge wire...
  12. TRhanks for starting this thread Brian as I too was considering getting into welding! I think the best advice I got from this is take the money and have someone expeerienced do the welding!!
  13. My step-daughter was just down visiting one of her friends in Charlotte last week and she was at the Biltmore too!! Her friend rides too, a vintage Virago...
  14. Yah! Looks like you had a super time! You have an ear to ear smile in every one of those photos! I have to take Becky to Europe some time as she has never been over there...
  15. Naw, waaaay too clean!! You got to ride it and get it dirty son... Lookin' good, Scotty!!!!!
  16. Awww, he's just monkeying around with that bike...
  17. Well, seeing as the battery is under your butt when you set on the seat, I would check the battery connections first!! I do know of one member who had an issue like that after he worked on the bike and forgot to tighten the battery connections (not me)......
  18. On the trike I get about 5 miles, give or take, before I have to be on reserve. I normally just leave it on reserve but I had an exhaust leak fixed prior to leaving foer the PIP and found out the hard way the dealer left it on the normal position. Riding 2 up towing a trailer at 70 - 80 I only get around 22 MPG...
  19. And I'll betcha that if you peel the label off you will find out that in reality it is a DEKA!! There may be a possibility your starter motor is going south and it needs the extra battery to supply the extra amps to get it to turn over. If it is a bad starter motor you may want to replace it with a 4 brush motor from either a Vmax or a 2nd Gen...
  20. What time is dinner???
  21. Bet you thought about stopping in a department store or something to buy a nice heavy jacket, eh?!!?
  22. Well, welcome home, I guess! Sure was an honor having you guys and hope to see you next year!!
  23. For both, 14 or 16 gauge should be fine, lean towards the 14 gauge for the air horns but 16 should be OK. 10 amp fuses should serve you well. for the lights, 55 watts x 2 lights is 110 watts divided by 12 volts is less than 10 amps. If youm want a little more for surges then go with a 15 amp fuse but 10 amps should be fine. For both start out with 10 amps and if you find yourself replacing fuses then go to a higher value...
  24. It's yellow, below the green O/D lite and it doesn't really light up that bright...
