  1. Thanks Spear, I didn't know you cared! Here is an eCard for all my VentureRider Friends. Ok, Ok....I'm working on the card! There...That should do it!
  2. With the mental image that is showing up in my mind, I don't want any more!
  3. Contacts!?
  4. Me thinks Georgie is exhibiting the beginning stages of MBD! Great pics Bobbie! Especially since you didn't get my bald spot like Gene likes to do!
  5. I'm not sure, but I thought the E-3 was originally developed for the 1800 GW?!? You don't have the 86 any more do you? No front E-3 for the 1st gen yet.
  6. That is one big boy!
  7. Yo Dude! Glad you're back with us! I was wondering where you were. I'm glad things are working out for you. We are here for you if you need us. You know what they say, JB: "Women, you can't live with them; and you can't live with them".
  8. I guess I missed something, Jack! What happened with your back? Whatever it was I'm glad your getting back to 100%. I've had back surgery, but I'm not sure it totally took! Back pain SUX! Fortunately, through the years of back trouble I've had, my riding has not been affected much. Riding on the bike was always more comfortable than riding/driving a car, and riding in my sister's '04 Jeep was about the worst.
  9. I'm a pc idiot too and I'm still trying to figure out just what the H E Double Hockey Sticks y'all are talkin' about! Will this stuff allow you to copy stuff that won't allow it with just a ctrl+c, ie: Snopes text?
  10. How else do you think Dave was able to recognize what those people were thinking, Brad? By the way, my psychiatrist thinks in schizophrenic, but I don't think I am and neither do I!
  11. You might PM Brokespur (Ken), he told me today that he has a good stock windshield . He replaced it with the wider Clearview and will let someone have the old one if they need it.
  12. Better be careful with those offers, Jim! We've got over 4 thousand members here. Hmmmm...Let's see....at 10 miles each.... thats 40,000+ extra miles on that 'vette! By the way, I'm in Winfield every Sept for the Walnut Valley Festival! I'll call next year. I might even let you drive my '50 Jimmy Stake Bed that I bought this year in Winfield and drove home to Ga! Hey Vance, he ain't worried, salt don't effect fiberglass!
  13. That motor's looking really good! Looks like it's brand new. I like the etching on, what I guess is, the windshield. Are you going to make the M&E Saturday, Bob? You can't use the bike as an excuse either, 'cause I see a truck and a car in the driveway!
  14. Rick at Buckeye Performance is a good guy. Call him and he'll hook you up. He's also a member here and gives a VR.o discount. Get a tube of Yamabond. That'll help a lot when it comes time to put it back together.
  15. It's the pretty color too! I started to say "I don't know why that didn't come up when I searched 86 Venture" but now I see he has it listed as a 1986 Royal Star. Not a very nice way to talk about a 1st gen! It's nice that he links to our history page, but hey Don, there's no way to click to VR.O home page from there?!?! Wasssuup
  16. Eck was stirring the pot at 7am today, so I guess he's ok! There's a thread called Storms that some people are checking in on.
  17. Do you have an item number or a link to that?
  18. I did that ride this summer and it is magnificent! We rode from west to east and if you can only go across once, I think that is the best way to do it. That puts you on the outside of the mountain. When we got on it on the west side there was road construction and we had to stop behind about 15 cars. I asked the flag-girl if they also had the rule that motorcycles go to the front of the line? She said "Well there isn't any dirt road or too much rock.......but, yeah, I can send you around". Then she got on her radio and said "I'm sending a couple of motorcycles up!" It was great, we didn't have anyone in front of us after the pilot car dropped off. Speed wise it didn't matter too much, 25 (as you can see from the 4th pic) is about all you want to do! I got up to almost 40 once and leaned into the turn and scared the $*&@ outta myself! The stone wall that you see in the 2nd picture varies between 12 and 24 inches tall and that is all that stands between you and a QUICK trip to the bottom! Awesome ride no matter what!
  19. Great news! I hope the Doc gives you even more good news tomorrow!
  20. Ain't that fancy!!!
  21. I missed the beginning of this post. Just curious, Ponch, you are the artist previously known as.....??? :confused24:
  22. All I know is that I sure got old QUICK!
  23. I found a new screen cleaner here: http://files.timothyhumphrey.com/screenclean.swf
  24. We're going to have a maintenance day in early April in North Ga someplace, Tony. If you can make it to that we can hook you up! If you make it to the next N. Ga Meet & Eat on Feb 9th, we could do it then!
